  1. that FH shirt looks so awesome in this..proud to be wearing 3sixteen jeans!

Thanks for watching. We get along very well with the folks at TFH - we did a tradeshow together with them in Las Vegas this past February and will be showing alongside them at Bread & Butter this upcoming July. Nice guys, amazing product.

  2. @adventuretime: Those look great, we have several female customers who wear the ST cut. After the hem, they'll fall very nicely on your boots.

@JeansTooTight: Yes, the 140x indigo/brown denim will come in both SL and ST cuts. The 130x is first to release though, it will be coming out in 2 months.

    @Clayton: Great looking 21BSPs.

  3. Any news on the Stevenson? Ever since getting the half-sleeve from a member here I've been craving more of their stuff.

This is the collection I'm most excited to receive for SS13. We placed the buy in Tokyo in November and it's amazing; should be arriving in a few weeks time at all Self Edge stores. There will even be a few products coming in that you wouldn't usually except to see from Self Edge, which is the fun part.

  4. @Andrew

Anymore info on the heavy weight sweatshirt? I think you posted/tweeted a sneak peak of it earlier...

They'll be releasing this August via our webstore and a few select accounts - heather grey and black with leather accents. That's all I have for now...

  5. Plan to pick up some of the heavyweight Ts this spring. Any chance of adding navy to the mix in the future?

There are some very loose plans to add navy to the mix; this most likely will not happen until late summer/early fall though.

  6. is the new 16oz denim the same as that used on the +30bsp (actually that may be 15.5?)? i've been wearing those jeans and really like them a lot, would love to know more about the denim or any comparisons for people that have that also own the lighter 3sixteen denim (i do not)..

More information will be made available when the jean releases, but we've actually elected to go with a 17oz version that is a variant of the 30BSP fabric.

  7. Anything special announced as of yet for 3-Sixteen's 10th year in business?

Very observant - we weren't sure how many people were keeping track of this. We definitely have some special things planned for the upcoming year, including a series of collaborative items celebrating the brands and friends that have helped and inspired us along the way, and a party + pop up shop in NYC this fall to showcase the 10th anniversary pieces. More information forthcoming, of course.

I read somewhere on their twitter last month that they have a 16oz denim that came in and among other things...not sure if that has anything to do with the 10 year anniversary....seems intriguing.

The denim sneak peek that you saw on Twitter is a special heavyweight fabric that we've been working on. It will be showcased at Bread & Butter in Berlin this week, NY Market week the following week, and Project in Las Vegas. We were originally planning to release this heavyweight jean in the fall, but if we see the demand from retailers at the show it could be available as soon as April of this year.

  8. Love seeing new and old 3sixteen+ jeans here. Thanks for posting up!

PS: wayoutwest, that's rad that you run a roastery. let me know when your beans make their way over here to a NYC cafe. I'd love to give them a try.

  9. The crazy stacking at the bottom makes it a little harder to tell, but if you were able to button them up without any resistance whatsoever you might do well to size down one. They should be slightly difficult to button up at first, as they'll stretch 1" over time. The seat area also looks a little bit roomy.

  10. Hey Andrew, do you think a warm/ hot soak for my CS would get out some hip flare? But would this cause the indigo to set and result in more difficult fades?

Possibly, I would give it a try. It won't cause the denim to fade more slowly either.

  11. The top block looks like it fits you perfectly, I'd personally be uncomfortable if it were any tighter. My suggestion is to wear it for a bit and if you feel in a few weeks' time that you'd like it to be tighter then just soak the top block in hot water and it'll come in a little bit, but don't expect too much - a 60 minute hot soak would have gotten almost all of the shrinkage out.
