  1. That sucks.

I was just thinking about this. In the recent months, I've gotten stuff from Japan, England and Canada (i'm in California) and haven't got hit w/ any customs. The packages from Japan were sent EMS and marked gift as was the package from England. The package from Canada was sent via Canada Post and the declared value was $150 Canadian and not marked as gift. Still, no customs. Lucky, I guess.

  2. 5-panel over fitteds anyday for me, especially DQM 5-panels. I don't know where they source their hats but they fit my big head nicely. Supreme 5-panels...not so much.

It may have something to do with being old and having a large head. I mean, how can I walk around w/ a sz. 7 1/2 sticker on my fitted and the damn thing actually fits?

  3. Sprained my ankle while shooting hoops in running shoes. I was going to change shoes but was lazy. Never again. Came down from a rebound and rolled it so my foot was basically on it's side. I don't think I've ever screamed as loud as I did that day. Tore ligaments, turned black and blue, major swelling. No running for months. I almost lost my mind.

  4. I don't care for shells w/ a detachable hood. That said, I might have to overlook that 'cause the purple/tan jacket looks really really nice. Looks like i'm going to have to plan a trip down to sunny LA in Spring.

  5. How's the sizing on Jordan IV? I cant try them on and Im not sure if I need a 9 or a 9.5. 9.5 is my "safe size" that work pretty much every time but I dont want them to be too big and crease a lot.

    Basically I wear a

9.5 or 10 in Air maxes (9.5 being snug but not uncomfortable)

9 or 9.5 in Air forces (9.5 being a little to big)

    9.5 in stan smiths

    ? in Jordan IV?

Well, I think they run true to size, at least the Millitary and Mars do. I wear a 10 Dunk/AF1 and basically every other non-running Nike. 10.5 AM1 & AM95.

Both my Military's and Mars are sz. 10 and they fit fine. I can't speak on the retro Wht/Cement or Blk/Red IVs from '99, I think. Not fortunate enough to own those.

  6. First try using a dry method. I would try a good stiff brush. If that doesn't work get a suede stone, scrub and then brush. You might also try an eraser. Last resort is that suede shampoo but it hasn't ever really worked for me. It leaves the suede hard.

You're shoes are black so spots won't show up too bad. Good luck.

  7. I've always wanted to try some rolled-up slim chinos and no socks w/ burgundy beefroll Weejuns but it doesn't look right on me.

Probably stick to standard Cali wear, tees, shorts and some simple sneaks (Purcells, Vans slips ) or over the top sneaks (Jordan Grape V's, Oddity Adidas Stan Smiths or the crazy New Balance Neon Fish joints I just picked up.
