skinny belts..

I've been looking for a new belt similar to either the APC belts of last season that were skinny or something like these lad musician belts:

does anyone know of anything remotely close and if so where can they be had? slimmer belts in my opinion go much more nicely with skinnier denim like new cures/cheap monday/dior homme etc...

here is the black patent skinny one that DH did this fall, they also made a white patent one that I don't have. I wear this with patent shoes and black suits, I tried it once with jeans and was not pleased but YMMV

Unless you have skinny belt loops, skinny belts are going to look odd.

i personally have not seen a skinny belt worn well by a guy. if you have examples please post! i know i couldn't pull it off at least.

me too...they were still available when i was going to exchange my jeans for them but my brother was supposed to go to the post office to send them out but forgot to and didn't tell me for 3 weeks. when i asked him about it the belts were sold out.

Those skinny belts are repro's of 40s and 50s belts. Lot of traditional rockabilly guys wear those with 50s gabardine slacks, since they have super skinny belt loops.

well, i think the the skinny belt w/ skinny jean looks nice because the two compliment each other quite nicely. and about those APC belts, i went to buy one once they were on sale and was too late on those also...the picture above is a pretty good representation of what i'm talking about though.

you could try a leather shop, it's not that hard for them to put together a belt to your specifications for you, it'd just depend on if they make stuff there or just sell it.

i like skinny belts with skinny jeans but i think it depends on your height. if you are shorter wide belts and tight pants can cut you in half if you're not careful.
