It's always bad when E announces ahead of time on his insta lol. But I'm chilling, was hoping for the P38 to drop with this collection but I guess we're gonna wait a little longer for those.

    Same...better for my wallet now

Thoughts on the blue version of the J1A-GTPL 2.4?

Curious If it is only available on coevo & motherside.

At least one of the Chicago shops (Notre and STA) should be getting it in blue.

Am I the only one who’s worn this shit beyond standing around and posing for IG pics lol

This fall I took some pieces for about 100 miles of hiking in 8 national parks from Montana to Arizona. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

can't the same be said for all of the hard shells too? If you're gonna be sweaty, might as well go 100%

Luckily winters in Chicago can be brutal so I normally don’t have to worry about sweat. You’re right though. Live every day like you’re trying to drop water weight before a fight.

  5. Thoughts on the P38-E vs GT?

I’m partial towards the P38-E because I can’t imagine a GT pant being comfortable in anything other than cold weather, but the contrast zipper on the E version doesn’t really appeal to me.

Also, my assumption is the team found a way to stave off GT de-lamination, but that’s just a guess.

Compared to the J1B and any others with the zipper, I much prefer this. The zippers tend snag onto things.

It appears to be another feature brought over from the J1E that I’m a huge fan of.

Yeah, no. Fuck that. Color accuracy is KEY for product photography.

I wonder when the new P30A is gonna drop. I really want to get that green, but knowing my luck, size S will be gone in less than a heartbeat...

Apparently around mid March (E said in reply to a comment on his IG).

It should hit local retailers so that should help with paying tariffs (depending on your location)

Goddamn how swole are you @BruceLeroy?

Lmao not swole at all. Racing a bicycle for almost 20 years, mostly on the track, means pants are my greatest headache. My waist should put me at a 32-33, but I have to buy a 36 to fit my thighs and calves. I’m also 6’3 with longer legs relative to my torso. I’m a mess

When I find a pair that just works it’s pure joy.

How is the J33-E? I've eyeballed that jacket since it's one of two non GT/WS jackets on the mother site right now. I'm not so sure about the asymmetry and it looks saggy. How is the nylon material holding up vs any of your other pieces?

Its still in my cart lol. I would have bought it if I didn't get the P34-DS from the last drop. A friend of mine has it and it convinced me to get it. it runs a size larger but seems to be the perfect jacket for spring/fall. The material looks great and seems to be holding up. He also had it with him on a 15 mile wooded hike at Grand Teton National park. No cuts or imperfections. My only complaint is the black is not a true black, but more of a blueish black.

With respect to the asymmetry and sag you have to remember its a 3/4th length jacket - its shorter than my J1L, but longer than my J1B. I'm 6'3 and 205-225, depending on where my fitness/season is on the bike and his L fits me like a glove.

You used to be able to try pieces on IRL but not anymore. Try emailing their support and asking for help. I'm sure they'll help you with measuring up.

Support had helped me a lot. Give them your basic measurements and they really help guide you. For example, I normally wear XL in jackets and pants but some they advised me to size down like the J33-E.
