I'm being charged 445.12 USD for my p31a-ds from ups in import fees.... WTF. I have a $280 brokerage charge, govt fees are about $150.

Anyone else get charged a bogus amount like this? I'm at the point to where I'm simply going to refuse the package when it arrives. It's been almost 3 weeks now since i ordered from acrnm. Brokerage was no help, they directed me to an email([email protected]) to inquire the brokerage charge. This is ridiculous lol, never had this kind of experience when purchasing directly from acronym.

Holy shit. That’s insane. That fee is way higher than I’ve ever seen it. I’d start by asking what tariff code was used and why the fee is over 3x as much.

Sorry this is happening to you!

Apparently pushed back until November 23rd. If anyone else can confirm with any of their local boutiques that carry Acronym, that'd be good to know if it's just Hotoveli Hotoveli.thumb.png.09bdb87b1857a2e81619ffe171029e3f.pngor everyone.

That’s what others have said here too when I asked not too longer after the 1st drop.

Currently in UPS tax limbo with my p31a-ds from the mothersite.

I called a UPS broker, they stated the vat # is an overseas number and will not work, they need a US tax ID for my package... I contacted acronym and they said they provided everything. Asked if they can contact UPS to correct this, they just told me to forward my invoice to them as it has everything they need... So now I've CC'd them in my email to the UPS broker explaining the situation.

Anyone dealt with this before? It's pretty frustrating as I'm on week 2 now of waiting for this package and it seems that Acronym needs to get in contact with UPS over this, as it shouldn't be my problem to deal with, they need a tax ID from the shipper. Not the end of the world but I've never had this issue when ordering directly from acronym :/

The Tax ID is your social security number - always applies to the recipient. Provide this to the broker and you should be good!

I always do this as soon as a tracking number is available to minimize any delays.

did you mean a us 11? if so look here

I had no idea Bodega had them in stock - whenever I searched it only showed the High. Is there a big difference between the mid and high aside from how tall the shoe is?

  5. Can anyone help me track down a size 11 in the 11 by BBS x Salomon in Black/White (Black Upper/White Lower)? I’ll buy someone dinner or a drink if they can help me find a me pair

    I’ve only managed to find a 10.5.

Did you buy the same size in both? Based on measurements it seemed like the J68 fits a size smaller than the J58. I have a J58 in M, and was looking at buying the J68 in L.

I have an XL in both. I thought about going down to a L, but I like how it fits a little bit bigger. I also have a very large frame (former track cyclist sprinter and D1 football player) so it helps to have a jacket just a tad bit different than the J58 to open more looks for me. For example, I think my J68 looks better with my P30A-DS, but I think my J58 looks better with my P10-DS.

Anyone able to compare J68 warmth to the J58 now that it's out in the wild?

No difference to me, however, the J68 has a little more room internally so it fits sweaters a bit more comfortably. The other day it was a high of 0C / 36F with 35kph / 21 mph winds and I wore my J68 with just a t shirt and felt toasty. J58 was just the same.

Notre's tone depiction of RAF on the P31 is really jarring when compared to the mothership/elsewhere. Hard to really gauge the Alpha Green-- seems like it may be closer to a green-tinted khaki.

From seeing both in person the RAF depends on the white balance in the photo. I’d say that on an overcast day like today they’ll look more like the mother site, but in bright light of a studio strobe lean closer to brown.

@BruceLeroy  pants fit is spot on man

At first I didn’t like them and then I saw how Notre styled them, placed my order, and picked them up.
The RAF green is tricky. I would have bought the J68 or even these, but the color is different depending on the lighting and color temperature of the room you’re in.

  10. 6’3/190.5cm size XL P31A-DS

I could have gone with the L, but they would be a little less versatile than I’d like

Worn on waist / On waist cuffed / Slightly below waist

Shout out for that Dyson heater/fan. I was an engineer for them for 5 years and that product was a pain in the ass

How warm do you suppose the J68-PL is going to be? Doesn't give the density but let's assume it's the same as the J58-WS, what temperatures can one get away with with a t-shirt underneath? (obviously with the "warmth is subjective" caveats, yada yada)

I wore my J58 yesterday in Colorado while it was snowing/raining at 36F/0C and I was warm enough in just a t shirt. I imagine I’ll be colder if it was super windy. Now that I’m back home in Chicago with 20F weather I’ll let you know when I get my J68 locally (fingers crossed)

Would it cause any problems if I were to wear the J68 in an XL inside of a size Large shell at all? I've never really bought a liner/insulator jacket to wear underneath a hardshell, so this would be my first one if I were to get it. I'm not sure if you should be sticking with the same size as your shell, or if you can size up in the insulator an still be fine.

That I can’t answer. Maybe sleeve length would be an issue but I assume it would be as simple as comparing measurements. It could also be far less simple as that.

I've never worn any profile fit ACR jackets, so I'm wondering if I should size up, or stay my normal jacket size with something like the J68-PL? I wear an L in my J1A/GT-J34, and also my former J47R, which all fit Straight.

    I weigh around 220lbs and am 5'10"

Should I size up to an XL in the J68 due to the profile fit? Or should I just stick with the large?

For reference I’m 6’3 and float between 205 and 215 depending where I am in my training for a sport and I wear an XL in the J1L-GT and my J58-WS. I tried a L in both and it was a bit too snug.
