i emailed s&s to ask about reserving a pair and they said no. they also said that they will be available in store in NYC on a friday in the next 2-4 weeks, and then whatever is left from the drop will be online the following monday.

@bartlebyyphonics did you have the jacket shortened? the length looks way better here than i've seen anywhere else.

fit pics of my new 1001xx. same pair and size as @Cold Summer
i actually sized UP to a 31 in these. i typically wear a 29 or 30 in most jeans. i wanted a slightly looser fit with these for messing around.

If you manage to find a way to get a pair let me know, I've been trying to get him to sell internationally for months now.
Has anyone thought about making a Bridge of The Times thread? I also cannot get him to sell me a pair of jeans.

I'm having trouble deciding between a size 32 and a 33 in the Sugarcane 1966.
My Sugarcane BSPOW are a size 32 and they are too snug in the waist, however, according to SE's measurements the BSPOW size 32 is a true 31 inch waist and the 1966 32 is a true 32.5 waist. Do you think I'd be fine with the 32 66 or should I go with the size 33?
my size 29 66 measure to 29 in the waist just after a wash, and they do stretch a good bit.

Would anyone share thoughts on how the top block of the 66 compares to 47s? I've been planning on replacing my 5 y/o 47s with a new pair come fall, but the renewed availability of the 66s has piqued my interest. I'm most curious about the hip flare /anti-fit rear end which is fairly pronounced on my 47s (size 36). Cheers!
i have worn 47's from a size 28-31. i am a true 29. i bought my 66's in a 29 and hot washed them after their factory wash. so far the waist and top block feels much more like my size 30 47s if i'm comparing the two models. the 66 denim has a lot more stretch than the 47. the butt on my 66s is actually pretty loose, especially if i don't have them hiked all the way up. nothing super unflattering though.

i’m thinking about getting the sugar cane 66s. does anyone have shrinkage experience with them? my MF jacket is made with the same denim and shrunk a ton from raw. i kind of want to buy a size up and hot wash/dry for maximum shrinkage and leg twist. anyone have experience and/or advice?

Damn that right pocket shape is so good! @roomtemplacroix is it the same denim as the regular 47s?
as far as i know this is an entirely new denim that sugar cane made when they originally made the limited edition 46 jean with junky. it's a 13oz denim. very very different from the 47 denim.

here are my 1001xx that i got from self edge in late august. have been wearing them a lot lately and still haven’t washed them yet. i’m not really a fan of how the banner denim looks when it’s washed frequently so i’m holding out for a while with these.
