I got my J99 a short time ago. Yes it fits big! I normally wear an XL but because of the specs, I ordered and L. It still fits quite large and I rhink I could have ordered an M.

If you consider buying it go down 1 size or even 2.

It is very warm . . the warmest ACR piece I own. It is well-designed with lots of pockets and I was glad to see it has a YKK zipper which is nice and smooth.I have  similar ACR coat with the Ra******* zipper (I can never remember the full name) and it jams and sticks on a regular basis.

Thank you @Roofmann and @zxcvbnnn for the input with the J99. Really interested in this piece. Owning a J61-GT, would that be the perfect liner or do you (or anybody else that wants to chime in) see the J99 as the perfect liner? Kind of unsure because the J99 does not offer auxzip. Or is the J99 more to be seen as a stand alone piece. THX.

Agreed! It is also more water resistant than the others. Only flaw is the zipper which is really finicky. I am used to it now but I still jam it from time to time!

If I may ask: What is the problem with the zip on the J83-WS? Is it the jamming-up or the visual aspect?
What I can tell from my eperience with the J74-PX is the "cover" material for the zip is jamming in and this is creating like a thin discoloration (like a white line) in the area. Talking black colorway here.
If needed I can add a pic.

  3. After these bustling previous pages, maybe my questions was overlooked.
    Anyone?

    Hello!
I am thinking about buying a J47-GT from the SS20 season as a hardshell for a my J74-PX.
As both jackets have the auxzip feature I do know that they are generally combinable but does this also apply to the Fast Hoodǽ of the J47-GT with the fasteners of the J74-PX?
I was not able to find any info/pics on the net/thread. The Fast Hoodǽ looks in general really "small". Are there any experiences with hardshell incl. Fast Hoodǽ and a hooded liner?

    Thanks for any help!

Or in other words could someone provide some pics of the inside of the hood of the latest J47-GT?
    Thanks in advance!

In recent memory (past few years) items have either dropped online only, or online + stockist simultaneously. you might have to start watching grailed...

Is it me or do the detached pockets on the J83 look like goretex pro, while the rest of the jacket is windstopper?

I think you are correct. The front pockets on both sides on the J83 seem to be goretex (especially if you see the inside). For me the best jacket/insulater of this release, but a big price.
Any stockists that you are aware of for this piece as I would like to see how it fits? Thanks and cheers!

  6. I can only second @CARLOOA regarding that rain coat functionality. Having a size L and never felt any wet underneath.
Could you share thoughts to pair it with a J72-AK?
I am not sure how the pairing of a size L would work / look with the anti-fit size L of a J61-GT.

Let me know if you need any further information regarding the J61-GT.

Several months in the wool has slightly pilled, nothing unexpected with boiled wool and given the texture it feels natural—it’s not distracting like you might find on some sweaters when the process happens. It feels like it’s “breaking in” a bit and isn’t so rigid. But I am babying it, so take this with that in mind. Might be able to see the texture better in the back shot.

    Thanks @HeckHouse!
Any input regarding the ability to zip it into a hard shell? If so same size?
Any specific recommendation for a J61-GT?

    Thanks a ton!

  8. I will re-try another time: @HeckHouse or anybody else? Thx in advance!

Hello @HeckHouse. Could you please give a further insight regarding the ageing of the farbic after another 3 months. Is it pilling on and on? I am a size L in the J61-GT. Would you recommend the same size as an insulator or even an XL as the J61-GT is kind of anti-fit. @all: what other insulator would you recommend for the j61-gt? Same size or bigger?
Thanks in advance to you, @HeckHouse and all others that might chime in.
More than happy to deliver some info regarding the J61-GT if needed.

    Best

Grabbed a J65-KM and I love it. It's a bit boxy and not necessarily an easy wear, but the hardware details are great, it's really fun to layer with, and it's super warm. The Small barely works for me and there are definitely angles where it looks too big on me, but if anyone here was curious about sizing or anything, let me know if I can help.
