Alright, thanks for sharing! I'll see if i end up making a pass at it.
Have you by chance posted that 1934 101J Repro anywhere on SuFu?1 -
Does anybody ( the good @Dr_Heech perhaps? ) have any experience with late 90s 506xx jackets and their fit? I might have a lead on one and want to make sure that the fit corresponds to size unlike its 555 507xx brother...
maybe somebody even have measurements?

'78 has a really low rise compared to any other model offered by LVC and i couldn't come to terms with it. It had a fair amount of taper iirc, but nothing compared to some of the earlier variants of the '54 - talk about a slim tapered jean. The '78 did have the carrot shape, but i didn't think of the taper as excessive perse. '76 is what the '78 should have been from the start imo. Fantastic cone on the '78 though....

I better post these here. Copy/paste from the competition thread, New price.
I hate to admit it, but my contest jeans got to go - i can’t make the size work for me. Haven’t been worn since Oktober I think.
They measure around 42 cm across the waist, but will stretch out around 3 cm easy. They were hemmed by TCB to 76 cm.
Asking around 100€ for them, but hit me up and let’s talk.

edit: if you are curious about the pocket bag combo. They are pair no. 43
These are still up for grabs, waiting to be faded to perfection!
hit me up with a reasonable Offer.

Speaking of San Antone ‘55s, here’s a pair of 34/34 I picked up recently. More like a 35 in the waist, but that’s perfect for me -I really wish 35 was a common size in general - anyway, they won’t be put into action any time soon, plenty of jeans to tear through first.
These are the first lvc of this era that I own and I really wish that all lvc was upheld to this standard - even the pockets are deep and made of decent material. Oh well...

Seem legit enough to me!

I’ve seen that thing for sale on eBay for years and years. Nobody is that thick hope that isn’t only option to repay a loan or something

How is the MiA fit compared to the later Turkey ones?
My first pair of raw denim jeans were a pair of Turkey 505 bought in 2013 and they were kind of tight In the thigh. Still wore them like hell. Maybe I should dig out of wherever they are hiding...

Haha, fair point. I guess what I meant to say was, that I’ve never agreed with their way of branding or pricing lvc, it did hold a certain appeal and was to a degree a form of repro. Now they aren’t trying to hide the fact that it’s just a fashion line for them anymore.

If they spent as much time and money on the actual jeans and their details as they do with these special promos and hype, they might actually make jeans that live up to their "stitch to stitch" talk.
Sadly, I don't think that we are really their target group anymore.

I’ve got 4 of these fantastic slub yarn undershirts in a size medium that I wanna pass on. All in perfect condition, they haven’t been worn for a while and haven’t had too many washes. They go for 50$ a pop, I am thinking about 30$ a shirt or 100 for the lot. One of them has a manufacturing defect in the collar (as pictured) but otherwise perfect. Might consider a trade for other shirts, long and shortsleeved.

I have decided to keep it and give it hell. After almost a week, it has definitely already improved. I’ll post and update in a while. I do like that FQHH leather. Could spend hours looking at every square centimetre of it

I have tightened them a bit and i think its much better like this. I think this is the size. Can’t wait to break this bad boy in!
thanks for the advice.

With a thick jumper, I think it’s quite good, though the lower portion does have plenty of room still. I guess it is a 50’a cut after all? Hard to tell how It’d be when it breaks in

Haha, i really did make that sound like a stupid question, i apologize. I did some google searching under the Freewheelers name, and it yielded no results. I figured that it might be one of the "etc." names that the thread name suggests and felt it easier to ask Thanks anyway.
