I've worn similar boots backpacking in Glacier and Rocky Mountains NPs (5-6 days out) with no issues. I always bring a pair of sandals along so I can take my boots off once at the site so they can breath/dry.

The main problem is they're heavy, but if you're comfortable walking in them for long distances I would think they'll be fine (assuming you're talking about ones with the Vibram sole not the cork or crepe). A good pair of merino socks and comfortable insoles definately doesn't hurt either.

Speaking of abrasion resistance, I slid across a few feet of concrete this morning after hitting some ice and laying down my bike. I was wearing the Mionn IS and was pleasantly surprised that there were no rips or tears. Only a small scuff that pretty much came off after wiping with a damp towel.

Should have grabbed the converts when I came across them this past weekend.

I emailed a retailer prior to the F/W '17 drop to ask if they would being getting any pieces because they have in the past. Their response was that they would not for F/W '17 but would be for S/S '18. Who knows if this is true or if things have changed since.

Same as others mentioned. I took ~1.5" off the Indisce with no issues or changes to the look of the hem.
