A custom patch and special pocket bags would be a nice touch to set it apart from the regular '46s. I reckon a red tab without the red bar tack would also be a good idea because it tends to be something people unpick anyway (and it'll save the tab from getting easily wrecked in the wash)! I'll be watching the contest from the sidelines since I'm trying to cut down on the number of pairs I already have.

Can I speak for everyone and say 1946?

I wore LVC jeans almost exclusively for a few years and I still wear my '55s quite regularly, but not as much as my Resolutes. I guess you could say that LVCs lost their "allure" since they stopped using Cone fabric and being made in USA (yes, some will say that that was lost years ago when they stopped making them out of the Valencia St factory). I reckon some people were immediately turned off after reading "made in Bulgaria" despite the fabric being Japanese. Bulgarian-made clothing isn't commonplace when talking about denim, so it makes sense + the pricing ain't gonna help! People would probably have been more receptive to LVCs being made in Japan with Japanese denim.
Also, I saw some rigid '47s from the current season and they're made in Turkey. I'm not too sure how they decide which models are made in Bulgaria or Turkey, or if they're transitioning for all models to be cut and sewn in the same location.

Not to be that guy, but I'm surprised Keystone decided to use that image for the lighter brown (third) boots because there's some noticeable wibbly wobbly heel counter stitching.
Their blog shows this rather unusual black/brown combo. I say "unusual" because I'm used to seeing this kind of combo when the vamp is black and shaft is brown.

Nice thread idea. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a circlejerk though haha

Everyone makes one now and I'm trying to get rid of my LVC one haha With so many options, I'd be interested to see how they all compare to one another

^ damn...would only need a turtleneck and I would have the Steve Jobs outfit kinda complete
Lol, I mean maybe Steve Jobs was the fashionista we never truly appreciated
Also, looking at your current fit makes me realise that going down a size might be a bit too ambitious. Your creases are very similar to mine, especially how tight the combs are behind the knees. Any tighter for me and I would look like a sausage. I think I've been obsessing too much on how the 710s fit Hayashi himself, but I gotta be realistic and understand that I don't have the same body shape!

This pic is from early Feb, but here's an another idea of how a size 33/33 710 (with a belt done to around 32") fits on a 170cm/70kg person Haven't gone to the gym in half a year (and unfortunately won't be able to in the near future given the world's circumstances), but planning to get back to a fitness/size I'm happier with. Contemplating whether a size 32/32 might be okay once I am in need of a darker pair because I can't wear these without a belt. Legs fit fine tho

The product page is currently up for Super Stitch's LR01 jean. I think it's just a placeholder for when they actually go live, but you can see that the price will be quite high at €290... They're supposedly based on jeans between 1972 and 1974.

Just adding a bit of info to this... Turns out the collab I just Fullcount's regular 0105 fit with a Glad Hand branded top button + rivets as well as a stamped leather patch + pocket bags. The kicker is that there are FULLCOUNT and GLAD HAND stamps on the inside of the hems as well. Not entirely sure why anyone would purchase this over the standard version!

Nice stuff @dudewuttheheck! I agree with everyone saying that the shortened sleeves look much better than before. I remember seeing some of your older fit pics on Instagram and thinking that it was a little odd having the sleeves folded up. Who did the sleeve alterations for you?

Not sure if many of you follow Super Stitch on Instagram, but the guy behind it is releasing his own branded pair of jeans. I started following him a while ago because he would post photos of his hemmed Resolutes so he seems to like that aesthetic. I don't know any extra details than what's in this Instagram post (or whether it'll be available online).

Yeah I’m thinking they’re a bit too bright white too. I’d consider them if they were a bit more of an ecru color. I do need some 710’s in my rotation. Thinking about getting some 38x34 sometime.
I was kinda liking the white jeans, but they do look quite bright. Something similar to Warehouse's white jeans (pic below) would have been more preferable since they're more natural/ecru in colour.

For those that like looking at photos, check out this guy's blog http://pipkolabo.blogspot.com/. He hasn't uploaded anything for two years, but if you search for "710" or "711", you can see monthly photos (like 40 months for each jean). It seems like he usually washed and dried every two weeks, and the results are really nice =)

Nice comparison! That's the look I rock with mine. Haven't taken the dip into trying a shorter, more Hayashi-like length, but maybe I'll give it a crack once my current 710 has had a solid run!

I was planning to break out (and then break in) a pair of 55s (from 2007) this summer but all this recent talk has made me consider giving my 76s a spin instead.
55 or 76 in the UK heat(!) - what do you reckon?
Go with your '55s! The '76 fabric is more tightly woven and seals in all the juices lol

Yeah, that's so weird that the legs are twisting the opposite way... Never seen a pair look like that

Only just noticed that the white 711 has a paper patch instead of leather. I'm assuming that's because leather could stain the fabric when washed?

The white pairs are hitting the stores. Small sizes first
Bears is also having their Resolute Fair so Hayashi will be there January 18th and 19th to fit/sign jeans!

Look nice though
Do you condition the patch in any way?Nah, I didn't condition this patch so that's why it's cracking To be honest, I've never felt the need to condition my patches, but this one was rather quick to dry up!

Sapporo-Base seems to have size 38 in various leg lengths in both the one-wash and raw. If in doubt, you can always contact them because I've done so in the past and their English isn't bad!
Zabou has them as well.
