Vertical falling on those LHTs is like a veritable downpour. Has RJB come out w/a a bit of a higher rised slim-taper ... like an 11in rise on a W34, after soak/wash ?
R&H collabs.. my RFR-002 in size 34 were 11" front rise after couple of washes (even though they state it to be 10.75 on their site)

the 1105 dimension suggests it's the "relax tapered" cut that's everywhere now, without saying so
I would say this one is a bit better than most of "relax tapered" I've seen, as here LO is 8 and most are less than 7.5 which is tooo small

Oni black 20oz type 3 jacket, will it fade or stay black?
the one that is secret denim black/black version? as I understood it should fade to grey (seen faded jeans from this denim), that's why I bought one (no fade yet)

some update..wear tcbs 1 of 2/3 days, I think will wear now more as weather is now more suitable for them
spent dozen of days in Tel Aviv on vacation, beautiful place while there it's not that hot (wore mostly shorts)
for the last several days it's pretty much warm here so decided take a walk to work and make some photos of what I see around everyday (mostly rivers and old buildings)
forthcoming couple of months will be the time when city look pretty good (dirty and dusty as fuck, but nonetheless good)
obligatory dirty window selfie
and you can't pass by McD without buying some mcflurry

I have several Indigofera shirts; they are among my favorites. They have a good eye for design.
but unconsistent with sizing. have Norris flannel and while chosing one found out that one model in different colors can be of different dimensions.

Back to clothes for now. This is a special pullover made for the Stores from the same indigo cotton yarn used for this season's cardigan and hat (there are also scarves for the Stores).
when this one will be available? thanx

paid a visit to my homeland this weekend, so tcbs had their first journey: definitely comfiest jeans for travelling (yeah, travelled once in slim fit heavy oz jeans and it was my mistake). and agree, pockets could be bigger as now I am always worried that my phone will fall out. fit wise they are maybe a bit wider than I am used to but I am too old to care

Gathered my '20 on weekend. lacking contest patch (but a replacment one is already on the way to me from Foxy and big thanx to him for that) and definitely screwed up with length as after a wash they are alredy 32" while I needed 33"..but worn lower on his seems to be working.
Gave them a first day of wear yesterday and they might be one of the comfiest pairs I had, although it's still too cold at here wear them day long..so I'll have to walk faster
Fit picks later this week. and I am really glad I was lucky to join you all on this contest.

I like how Gangsterville of Glad Hand does a lot of cocktail lounge/pool hall clothing and I'm debating on two shirts. They both have that sleazy martini or pool stick holding appeal that I'm looking for. Both are made in Japan. Which one is the better answer?
Gangsterville. GH looks more like pyjamas

Fit pics on the Oni Aizumi’s, overall very close to the 546 fit just slightly smaller leg opening and wider leg/top block.

This is a pair of the 20 oz GTB-style unsanforized denim that Momotaro put together about two years ago. I’ve been wearing them whenever the weather gets cold, so they only have about 6-8 months as part of a two pair rotation. Just gave them their last wash and put them away for the warmer months.
Really love the natural tapered fit and the rich color of the denim, but they are a slooooow evolution. Still feeling relatively stiff at a point when most of my jeans have become super soft and draping. Still quite dark when most pairs had a lot of lighter blue peeking through (the photos appear more contrasted than real life). On the bright side though, I’m sure they’re going to keep surprising me for years after my other current pairs are retired.
Great fading! bought this winter same pair without stripes and after 1-1.5 months they show almost no signs of fading at all (and that's after using Sams as winter pair) and still feel pretty much stiff. So now I know what to expect if I keep them wearing. And yes, they are comfortable and the feel of denim is soft and pleasing to touch as it has lots of short hair

Haha true, but I'm sure PBJ are not the only jeans everyone is carrying, so it's nice to get a opinion. What are the popular models now? I know Samurai got in trouble...
I would say choosing PBJ/ONI you should consider also fit: I had 2 PBJ that I sold because of the fit and I did not buy any ONI because they almost never do anything in the fit I would like (although I have ONI jacket). Strike Gold have straight fit..

great!
the first generation Jin denim was amazing (and probably one of the fist slubby denims). the second iteration was underwhelming as everybody was expecting similar slubbiness.let's see how the third generation will develop...
I am of the minority, but consider second generation Jin one of the best denims I came across, but I don't care for slubbiness

My concern with the top block is that the hips and thighs on a size 34 will shrink and lead to ball-crushing discomfort. I'm probably overthinking it a bit based on what I read on this page about people's experiences with the top block being too snug. You're right - it is tough to judge how a size 34 will fit based on the 35.
@oomslokop, ah, the days of having a 32 inch waist. If I hold onto this pair of 1108s long enough, I'll eventually be big enough for them to fit perfectly.
if you are going to sell them (and not return) so maybe better soak them and find out for yourself? you'll lose ~$20 in selling for being washed, but they might fit you.
1108 is definitely slim in thigh and hip: I could wear 1108xx in size 33 (I am mostly between 33 and 34) for half a day and sold them as I couldn't sit in them.

according to EMS Russia tracking my package has now left Russian territory.
don't be surprised if it will remain in this status for couple weeks before appearing in Japan - it always happens with them this way, my several parcels last year took averagely 3 weeks to get delivered (even though EMS claims to do it in no more than 10 business days)
