Hi guys! Yesterday I got OK from Kuniyoshi-san, he can hem your jeans if you want it. To sort it out, write a comment on your order at Göteborg Manufaktur of your desired post wash length and that you want Kuniyoshi-san to do it.

They did stress that you should measure them like Shingo does http://denimbridge.jp/gbg as that is kow Kuniyoshi-san will do it. + Shingo says the shrinkage is still a bit unstable so the numbers will be approximate.

    I have two questions:

    1. As hemming is ok, may I request to add to my pair denimbridge arcs? (I like them)

    2. Is there any limit for preorder? If it happens that a lot people would like to buy/participate - will everybody have a chance to hop a pair? Will Double Volante be able to sew all the pairs?

    Thanx

  2. Brown Duck and Digger (Warehouse) 60's Ivy fit - best fit for me. They just work great in every place: moderate rises, not slim thighs, gentle taper, usable pockets. Comfortable to wear and look flattering from aside (at least wife likes the look :D).

2nd place will be OOE 02 I think (they a pretty much similar).

I really hoped too! I won't join but Maynard will and he will provide large amounts of grade A entertainment to the contest, hopefully.

Considering your current weight loss you might want to reconsider your fits, because you might already hit the point where such fit can be looking good.

also loved the engineered/twisted range on a conceptual level - there were at least 1 or 2 models that I should've bought...

my father is quite a fan of Engineereds: I think he had a dozen of them in last 10 years, always manages to find deadstock pairs. Got one pair from him that fit me good - they were pretty much ok everyday pair for a student.

Also remember having Levi's with red top button, they were of some greencast indigo color, but surely of a more normal fit so not sure if they were this REDs.

I'll try to search both pairs when visit my parents next time..

If you do manage to make it down there I’d love to see some photos of their black jeans. Also can anyone see the size charts on their website? I can’t seem to.

size charts work properly for me

After a summer of exceptional daily beer drinking performances I had to start a diet. I'm 94 kilos, and damn close to out weight the 20s.

I even started running and discovered that quite incredibly I seem to really enjoy it.. I do it it for the denim. I may start running wearing jeans, for the fades haha!

lazy summer is a bitch for sure. gained 1.5" in my belly during summer and tcbs don't fit. also started some diet/sports but still almost 1" to go.

Measurements (I used the Self Edge "How we measure" as a guide)

    Waist: 34.5 inches

    Front Rise: 10 inches

    Back Rise: 14 inches

    Thigh: 11 inches

    Knee: 8.5 inches

hmm..front rise shrank to 10" from 11.1" (SE measurements) and thigh to 11" from 12.6" (SE measurements) ? I really doubt that..you or SE must be mistaken.

If anybody here has Red Wing Pecos, how did you size on them? I wear a 10 in moc toes and Iron Rangers, they fit me about perfectly. But I've heard sizing on these boots is different. Also, anywhere I can buy these in the US besides Snake Oil Provisions, which seems (probably) sold out in my size?

I took Pecoss in same size as IRs and they turned out to be a little small, you better go with 10.5 (at least)

Disappointing as they have a good range. Is there anywhere else in oz that has good stock of loopwheeled hoodies and tees?

frankly speaking had only good experience with buying with them on-line (as I am at the north of Europe): always provided real measurements for the requested items, answered all of my questions and no problems with shipping.

What brands offer the 'low tension' denim other than Oni? I am returning the pair of Oni as the rise is non-existent for my preference. I know PBJ denim is also low tension and stretches a lot. What else can I look at? I am after denim that is 100% cotton but feels like you're wearing stretch denim. I feel that way in my pair of PBJ 019.

Is my memory terrible or does the 20th Anniversary 16oz feel completely different from the Denimio 16oz?  Aren't they both supposed to be the same Geisha fabric?

Frankly speaking I didn't see any official confirmation that they are geisha denim, just suppositions on that matter here and other boards.

Anyway this 20th 16oz turned out to be pretty interesting: a lot of texture and very dark.

Sad to say it, but BiG is increasingly becoming a purveyor of high-end ugliness. Just one example among many...

c'mon, Kapital is definitely not for everyones taste, but calling them ugly? pretty much their standard flare I would say

My LVC duck. Worn 15 times, no washes

    speaking of ducks

worn a lot (really hard to say how much as most of the wearings took place years ago), washed also a lot

photos don't do them justice, but they've pretty much faded and color variation is more visible in person. don't wear them much this days.
