Yes, exactly. Oscar last derby's in green cordovan. I had them re-soled by Dr. Sole though, including a new natural storm welt. Originally, I had them built with Rendenbach sole and metal toe caps (which I detested). The leather and build quality of the shoe is impressive. And I love the green cordovan, ages so well. I just wish Carmina didn't have such tiny eyelets for laces. Practically need to use dental floss...
they look just great, thanks, seems now I know what I'll be looking at when they waive their mto fee next time.

seems i'll be the first
worn around 350 days, but at least half of those days were like take a child to/back from pre-school in them and all the rest of the day at home in sweatpants; also could be more days but they are to light for local winters (for instance in ~same oz SdA suvins or tcb wwii its much more bearable) => not that intense fading
some thoughts: reeeeally great cut, good construction, not that much on fabric though - now with all the marbling became a bit better, but for most of the wearing period it was "not that interesting". ah, and interesting whiskering from knees
first photo is attempt in natural daylight (but still seems a bit dark), rest are in bright room light

that's hard... entered GBG contest year ago and wear only them (except for when it's too cold/hot or they are in wash, so 95% of the time I am in them), during this period bought 5 new pairs to wear after contest is over....and now joined TCB contest and that's without saying about couple of dozens of pairs I settled with (<-- not sure if this one is the right expression) before GBG contest that are waiting to get back to rotation

How do Grenson shoes fit? Any advice on sizing? I wear a 10.5 in Red Wing Heritage; a 10 in Red Wing Weekenders, Wolverine 1k, and various Clarks; a 28 in various Moonstar sneakers; a 9.5 in Lofgrens. My feet are pretty low-volume, which is often a limiting factor.
11us in RW and 1000miles - 10.5uk in Grenson. but I would buy Trickers if there is a decision to make

Seems like it's you that is missing the point If you can't see how Trump and others are whipping up anti-Chinese and in general racist attitudes to people of Asian heritage for political gain. Its a virus it came from China, but it doesn't discriminate. Yes, they called it the Spanish flu in 1918, but that was a hundred years ago and there a lot of things people did back then, that we wouldn't do now. Here in Australia, because people are calling it the "Chinese Virus" the incidents of racist abuse to Chinese and other minorities are rising as people are blaming them for the virus. Can you see why some people find it problematic to label COVID 19 the "Chinese Virus"?
frankly speaking don't care about Trump and don't think most people in Europe do. Spanish flu didn't start in Spain. julian-wolf and aho gave some great explanation and I see why for some people it becomes a sharp corner (but keep in mind, fore some it's not)

To be clear, for anyone not in America: The issue isn't with the political correctness (or lack thereof) of the name—no one who's saying we shouldn't refer to it as the China Virus cares what it's called. The issue is with an angry, impressionable, and largely undereducated population that sees unpleasant changes in their lives and needs a scapegoat on which to blame them. When the pandemic is widely referenced in association with a particular nationality, that scapegoat is made manifest. Reference to SARS-CoV-2 as the China Virus is associated with increased hate crimes against the Chinese and broader East-Asian population in America, and that's not cool.
thanks, that's the explanation I can understand and asked for on the first place (and not those populistic and uncalled "you fuel racism!").
like I said here we don't have any problems with them here, and even though we are also having some hard times anger is mostly towards government.

Try a Google search on Chinese+virus. It's a global pandemic now, and to call it Chinese sounds like a way to stir up hate towards Chinese people.
you might be missing the point. it's like you can't call Volvo a swedish car manufacturer as they are produced/driven all over the world.
don't know why you try to find a reason to hate someone, but it just started there that's why people call it that way. nobody hates them here for that
