    @Maynard - 34x34 (added to original post)

    My actual crotch length from nads to floor is about 32". I'm about 5' 11.5". I like an inseam length of around 33" so there's is some stack, but not too much, and I then have the option to cuff on occasion. I normally don't cuff. I also don't like my pants to ride up above my ankles when I sit. I'm not into the high water look,  maybe with boots, but I can't pull it off like @Hendsch does. I wish these were about an 1" longer...

    A note on measuring - I've tried measuring the waist three ways (with many different jeans, not just these 1976 501's): 1) just lying them flat, with the front lower than the rear, and tightened sideways; 2) matching the front waist to the rear, and tightening sideways; 3) the IH way, with the jeans folded sideways and the front button to one side, tightened sideways; I've found that all three methods give similar measurements, no significant differences.

    :blush: Ah, thanks!

  2. They get washed right side out but I think the fades are more pronounced from rubbing up against climbing walls. I'm actually a little concerned that, that area will be the first to blow out.

  3. Monthly 129 update:

    i mostly climb in these so they get worked and washed often and are getting crazy. I just went climbing so some of the white is chalk but they generally are pretty close to what you see.

  4. Looks similar to mine, and I get the self-conscious thing with the Canadian tuxedo. The first day of work in LA I wore the tux and was immediately known for it from that point on, It quickly made me realize I was no longer in Portland...

  5. Hey this is a bit overdue, work has been crazy but here is my trip to the Rose Bowl flea 2 weeks ago:

    This was at 9am, shit get's even crazier as the day goes on...

    First stop of the day was over the bridge to where all of the vintage clothes lives and I immediately came across this pristine Big E:

    Next up was a pair of was a pair of 60's Big E 501's that were way out of my price range $500, which I also failed to photograph :(

    Lastly, I picked up this rad vintage Rat Fink shirt, that I'm super excited about:

  6. We are rather spoiled here with climbing gyms. Touchstone has 3 gyms with one more on the way, and there are 3 more gyms from other companies in the area. LAB the one I went to today is actually the smallest of the Touchstone gyms in Los Angeles, the largest, Cliffs of Id has 26,000 sqft of climbing.......
