  1. The 30's could be an option, but those are much wider in the thigh than I'd like. Really, I'd just like for TCB to redo the black 50's, I have two pairs both the black and the standard, and by far they are my favorite cut out of all the pants I own... I might just wait to see what TCB comes out with this year and go from there.

Just for reference, here are my black 50's and black Sugar Canes:

TCB 50's 3 years of wear:

Sugar Canes 7 years of wear off and on?

Those look so good Blake, it’s good to see you back for a min also!

Thanks Ian! Good to be back, even if just for a min. Are you still in ABQ? I’m up in Santa Fe now.

Wow! The black jeans look incredible!

Thanks @Hopethisoneisnttaken! The black 50’s are probably my favorite out of the lot, they have been a nice departure from all of the indigo jeans I’ve worn over the years.

  3. @Double 0 Soul here’s my current stable. It’s been drastically cut back in the last few weeks...

Yeti ARC-X turned single speed cyclocross bike with the help of rear Eno  White Industries hub to tighten the chain.

Unknown 90’s steel road bike that I bought at Brick Lane bikes when I was living in London back in 2008. It has Carbon Tubular wheels, also laced up to White Industries hubs...

Beautifull Hendsch, if you decide to put on your bike, what bike is it.

it even turns your bike in a more “nice thing”

The bike is also a very nice thing... bespoke all road/gravel bike made for me by a good friend of mine.

here it is photographed by John Prolly of the Radavist. The new cranks should fit in better with the overall build. Was never a fan of the ultra modern Shimano cranks on this bike...

@Double 0 Soul I remember those Roox cranks! I grew up in Marin county (birthplace of mountain biking) so there was always tons of niche parts that you couldn’t get in the rest of the US slapped onto equally niche bikes. I had a pair of Kooka cranks on a Bontrager Race Lite, bit over kill for a kid in middle school...

  5. One of my other hobbies that I spend way to much money on is cycling. I just got these White Industries cranks last week, and they are an utter sight to behold... CNCd from a solid block of aluminum in Petaluma California. The craftsmanship is like no other bike part I own, it certainly is a very nice thing, almost don’t want to put it on my bike...52854957-3125-4BD8-B353-6B3BF67409DE.thumb.jpeg.a31bb3146bc00dc0480d81b5846112c5.jpeg

  6. @chicote I went with a 29 knowing they’d be a bit snug compared to my indigo 50’s. The fit is pretty much spot on everywhere except for the waist but with the two inches of stretch @julian-wolf got, I’m fairly confident these will be perfect.

  7. Just got my black 50’s and loving them! They’ll be a great replacement for the $30 oversized black wranglers I’ve been wearing. Forgot how much I love this fit! The waist is smaller than my 29 50’s (measured around 27in...:o) but they’re already stretching out and should be perfect once they settle.
