I know it's not always easy to do this with more limited items, but the cost of LVC has never been a huge factor since I've always just waited for the one sale of the year (usually November/December) where they don't exclude LVC items at 40% off.

On that subject, what IS the best way to rinse out the soap?

Think I'm gonna go ahead and order the 29 based on measurements and the amount of stretch after wear, would I just contact Inoue and provide him with my final desired inseam length and he can calculate the shrinkage?  I only see the washed version in the TCB store, is there unwashed/raw version? Will the washed version still require additional soaks/washes to get all the shrinkage out?

Does anyone have waist and rise measurements of a worn-in pair of 50s size 29 and/or 30?  I'm on the fence between the two sizes.  For reference, I wear a size 29 in FC 1108 (Zimbabwe cotton with stretching properties, maybe similar to TCB 50s?) and 30 in LVC ('47, '54, and '67).  Thinking of pulling the trigger on a pair of these very soon and likely having Inoue do the hem job.

I'm 5'5" so I have to have all my jeans hemmed unfortunately.

Not sure if anyone else agrees but I think it also depends on the cut of the jeans.  Lately I've been doing a single cuff, about 2-3", sometimes a smaller double cuff, anything beyond that feels too chunky to me.

Slim compared to most of the LVC offerings, I'd say the main differences between it and the '47 in terms of fit are a slightly higher rise and a tapered leg, I went true to size but I might not be the best person to ask.

Any information on whether the 3xxx series will be going away/changing and when that would be happening?  Self Edge doesn't currently have the 3005 in my size, however I'm not in the immediate market for a new pair but would like to know if they will eventually restock or if what's available is all that's left.

Is the fabric of the ‘55 similar to that of the ‘54? I own a pair of those and it’s definitely unique compared to the others I own.

This may have been answered, but anyone know if there will be restocks of anything that is currently unavailable? Looks like they've been out of the '66 in my size (30) for a while now.

I have a similar issue, although not really something I have much issue with, love the 1108.

Seems a little annoying.  I also think that the only people who would notice or pay attention to something (for the most part) like that are the people like us who purchase LVC/vintage Levi's.

Anyone know of a good Flat Head fit guide? I'm looking for something slim-straight/straight and I think that's the 3005 but I can never remember which fits are which.

Limited to casual Fridays and obviously weekends when I'm not at work.
