Can't imagine myself wearing plaid. Makes me feel like a high school kid again. So this rules out a lot of options for me shirting wise.

Although I wouldn't wear either, the jacket seems a bit more wearable than the jeans.

Nice jacket Bobbo. Do you think you could provide measurements?

It's STF.. but that only takes it to 31"
Yeah I know. Need something smaller than that if I were to buy one in the future.

It seems like an interesting cut with cool details. Too bad the waist only goes down to a 32 at minimum though.

I just recently saw a little documentary about how Momotaro jeans are made (can't find the link right now). That made a really good impression on me...but I have much too many jeans and other brands I'd try out before I would buy Momotaro.
Yeah I have the same sentiments. Cool video though.
Here's the video for anyone interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek5520fSymY

I don't really think that the pink threads used on Momotaros are really that big a deal, but I don't really feel like there's something special about Momotaros that I really like. I want to pick up a lot of different brands in the future, but I also don't want to buy so much that I won't get to wear them all. It just seems like there are always other more appealing options to me than Momotaro.

The suede on those Wesco's look really nice.

I'd agree that Vans is a lot better in terms of comfort. I wear Shoes Like Pottery, Converse 70's, and Vans and I'd say that the Converse feels the least comfortable (not uncomfortable though, just less so than the other options). I think that it's because the soft padding actually absorbs some of the force applied by the foot when you step. So the other sneakers allow for a more direct contact with the ground.

I have the 70's chucks and while I do like them more than the normal ones they don't really seem to fit right on my feet if I wear thin socks. I've also noticed that the aluminum eyelets end up staining the canvas pretty badly. They're also quite heavy compared to most other sneakers.
Have you looked into Doek or Shoes Like Pottery? No experience with Doek but I have a pair of Shoes Like Pottery and they're really light compared to the converse while still feeling quite solid.

Looks like a really great fit. The denim is also incredible as well. Really wish I could still get a pair of these.

Super easy! Did international shipping with them last month. Didn't ask about hemming, though.
There's also a button for inquiries below each product...
Did you ask them if they could mark the value of the package down?

Has anyone tried inquiring for restocks on Warehouse's online shop? Really want the Type I 2001XX but they've been out of stock for a while now.

Is WH's banner denim quite soft, or does it have some stiffness to it?
(There's a joke somewhere in here about stiffness).
It's really soft and airy. Not much stiffness at all.

I don't like how jeans look without a belt. I've never worn them without one, even when it does fit well on the waist (it usually doesn't)

Having tried both thin and thicker belts, there is definitely a break in process that has to be undergone with the thick belts. After that though, it ends up being as comfortable as thin ones are. I really don't think that the point of having thicker belts is to get as thick as possible because you can, but because it just feels more substantial when handling it. I also feel like it works better on wider buckles as well.
I've noticed that looping the belt under a thick patch helps make the bunching more uniform in the waist if it's too big on you. Personally I don't like the look of looping it, especially when I had a veg tan belt on a darker patch on the 3sixteens I used to wear. I really do like thinner leather patches more because it's closer to how jeans used to be made, which I can definitely get by.
On another note, I hate single sided buckles where your belt only has to pass through one part of the buckle. I really don't like the look, and usually these come with a loop of leather. Can't stand the look, but purely personal preference.

It's great to know that it won't be on the international models. While I do like the local arcs a bit more, I really don't mind just buying the international model instead.

I know it says that the ultrasuede detail will be on all models, but will it also be on international models? The only examples of the ultrasuede ones I've seen are from Japan. Maybe this detail only applies to Japan made models?

Great shirt Ben. Where exactly did you buy it?

I think so, there is a significant difference between say a 13" thigh on a pair with a 11.5" rise compared to a pair with a 10.5" rise.
How would the thighs get tighter with a lower rise?
Also if I'm wearing it on my hips it should need more room in the waist right? Compared to a little higher up?

Do you guys find that buying a jean with a lower rise would mean sizing up? Thinking of buying a pair of Flat Heads. I'm wearing Full Count's 0105 cut so the difference in rise is not insignificant.

they show lots of promise; didn't even wore them much yet (cut is border line too wide for me) but they are developing a nice hue. I'll give them another go this summer.
The 1002 looks very nice; never had a Lee type denim before; measurements seem close to 800's; only the thighs are a tad wider
Aho; do you know what fabric is used for these?
Not Aho but it's the banner denim. Same as the 1001.

Yeah I've been looking into chambrays a lot. I don't know if FH would be the first choice for flannels though. Never heard of linen shirts from FH either.
