  1. Help!

Noticed the fabric is separating on the inside of my J47A-GT jacket right by the gravity pocket. I haven't used the gravity pocket either.

Is this normal or a defect?

  2. Anyone picked up the Arc'teryx Veilance Mionn IS Three-Quater Jacket this year and can advise on sizing? I'm in between an M and L.

Also, which Arc'teryx blazer and pants would you recommend? I'm trying to decide between the Indisce blazer or blazer LT. Anode pants vs liminal as well.

This is for a work/professional wardrobe, thanks!

  3. DS feels like it's built to last, it's pretty much thicker more durable yoga pants material, which is made to take a beating.

Anyone point me or want to offload a pair of the p10a-ch's in L  please drop me a line. Preferably black but either color is fine.

For the p10a-ch's, your best bet is to keep checking acrnm.com and hope for a return. Or you can email them to say if a return comes in, to keep it for you.

That's how I found my p10a-s in raf green.

  4. So after three weeks of wearing the P10-DS I've got to say that the DS is probably one of my favourite fabrics so far. Hope there's more DS to come.

How do you think the material is gonna hold up/age? Durability wise the gabardine seems better but DS for comfort.

  5. so i would say the bureau belfast fit is too slim for me. i often wear a hoodie + interops bag and couldn't fit all of that under a size M. i can maybe upload pictures on saturday (not sure if you'll have the jacket by then, though)

My M j47a-gt came in and it fits with room to layer the j50 underneath. A 3a-1 won't fit underneath there with the j50 though. I'm still curious how the L works for you because while I wouldn't mind the extra room, I feel like the sleeves would be way too long.

  6. Not a buckle, but an all-black Patagonia Friction Belt might do the trick. Austrialpin also makes a 1" Cobra buckle - surely someone out there specs a belt with that.

    Check out 5.11 Tactical.

  7. What are some of your thoughts on wearing the JacketSling on the exterior of your jackets?

It looks pretty sweet, and I like the idea that if i have it slung and there's a freak downpour it's shell side up, leaving the inside dry.

The con would be you're upping your chances of getting snagged on something...

I think the option of wearing the jacketsling on the exterior is brilliant. Not only does it add visual interest to the jacket i.e. look cooler but it's also practical.

Personally, I find the chances of it getting snagged on something to be low but then I think it really depends on the environment you're in.

  8. Whatever you like. I don't like all black.

There is no code or a uniform standard

Thanks for the feedback. I like that there is no code. Freedom to experiment with the microarchitectures we live in.

  9. Snapped a quick picture of the J50-WS. Great jacket!

PS. If anyone is selling a J47-GT in size small, please let me know!

Looks good on you man, especially with the layering

  10. Someone please help me by pointing to a p10-ds in medium anywhere in north america. Would import if I have to... Just realized I am a medium.

I've scoured the entire interwebs but no luck...

  11. How warm is that J51? Copped it and a J50. Will likely return whichever I prefer less. Also snagged those P10A's in Raf. Very happy.

So which did you end up keeping? Climashield is pretty warm.

  12. i'm pretty much the same height/weight. i ordered the 47A in a L and it's pretty baggy (how i want it to fit). depending on how you like your things to fit and how you plan to layer, it may work out

cheers mate. I really hope so because there ain't any other store out there stocking a size L of the J47-A GT so this is pretty much my last chance to own some Acronym.

What does pretty baggy look like?

In your opinion, is the bureau belfast https://b37e2a690c47a2f6ed57-3cb151b8083f8d1f7f63333299fd431c.ssl.cf3.rackcdn.com/products/large/809085b9da876809445754570af4a2eb.jpg model wearing it too tight?

  13. In case people haven't seen this.

Found some osaka shop staff's fit pic of the J47A-GT in medium and last season's p17-s in small (dude is 5'9" / 60kg)

    sized perfect imo.

    more acronym fits + shop

    Nice find, thanks for sharing.

I am afraid I am going to be disappointed with the fit. I ordered an M in the J47A-GT and I'm 5'10, 74 kg/165 pounds and based on that model's height/weight, I may not fit in this either. Damn online shopping for acronym! Already had to return my J50-WS.

  14. @zerOcool  Do you typically wear a medium based on the sizing listed for this jacket?

Any advice on the fit of the J50-WS?  Sounds like it's a trimmer fit....can anyone confirm or advise on fit?

Was considering picking one up...any advice would be appreciated.

Well, I typically wear jackets in size M and the pit to pit measurements of the J50-WS seemed in line with my M size jackets.

However, the J50-WS is the first Acronym jacket i ever bought and I think I should have gone with an L given that it's fit block is listed as "Profile" that means it's fitted. so definitely trimmer I'll say.

For the J47A-GT, the M fits fine for me and the fit block is listed as "Straight".

For future reference, I'll order M's if the fit block is "straight" and L if the fit block is "profile" I think that's a good rule of thumb.

    Hope this helps!
