  1. Acrnm.com will have it of course.  I'd wager the same retailers that got drop 1 will get it as well.

I think it's just all the usual places but it's currently "coming soon" across the board

    Thanks guys!

  2. For Sale:

    ACR-FW-1516 (last season)

$750 USD gifted or + 4% paypal. I've got good feedback having sold a J47A-GT here and on Grailedhttps://www.grailed.com/users/16498/feedback

    P10A-S (Black) size L

    P10A-S (RAF GREEN) size L

Condition: 9.5/10. I've worn both of them twice. No rips, tears, or stains. Never washed, no fading, no smells. They've been kept in their original ziplock bags and stored in a clean, dark, dry closet.

Price is firm. Really just putting this here to test the waters since I don't wear them but really love the look of them.

  3. Can someone please advise on sizing for the Galvanic Is? For reference i wear an L in the mion Vest and M in the graph sweater. I wear an M in Acronym as well.

I tried on an M once and it fit but I don't think I could layer much with it.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. I checked out the ACG gear tonight at the Nikelab in Soho, here's my thoughts (I'm comparing this stuff to Acronym only):

The crew sweatshirt was nice, diet version of the S6-C from last F/W. Branding on the black was eh. The funnel neck one was a little more interesting.

Thermal: This was also okay. I didn't really have an issue with it, but I'd probably pick an old Gyakusou top over it.

Jackets: Eh. I couldn't be really interested in them. The branding is loud. The materials felt sturdy enough, not pro-shell by any means, but good enough to go against arcteryx's lower lines. I didn't like the black on the long coat mixed with the navy. The liner was pretty puffy, so if you're into the soft feel, it might be more your jam.

Pants: Both the cargos and sweatpants had once again a diet P10 feel, but one thing that really stood out to me was how sharp the back pocket zippers are. Like if you rub up your butt on a loose thread it'll snag on it/scratch paint. Not a fan of that at all. I was also kind of disappointed by the lack of any sort of knee stitching. That (and along with the taper zippers), is one of my favorite features of Acronym pants and really defines "the look". Materials on the pants was like a lighter weight ETA proof.

Shoes: I didn't like the shoes when I first saw them, and I liked them even less IRL. They did surprise me by being a lot lighter than expected, but for 300 USD, I think you'd be better off with a set of 6" SFBs and use the cash for something else. The outer rubber "rocky" panels on the display shoes were already wrinkled. The 3M (something white??) under the flyknit just didn't work with me.

Backpack: Really not feeling the bag at all. The new waterproof zippers are basically patent shiny plastic, and for 300 bucks, I'd expect things like garages for the waist strap (If there was one, disregard, but I didn't see any), maybe some holders for the shoulder straps. I'm super picky with backpacks though, so I might just be picking shit.

    Hat/Balacava: Didn't see these out.

Overall: While the sweatshirt/thermal was nice, I just really couldn't feel like any of it was a must have. The branding is a lot to swallow. I suppose this is a result of having too much Acronym, but to give an analogy, the entire line feels like the Budweiser of Techwear. Sure it'll get you drunk, and maybe in a glimmer it reminds you of a good Hefewiezen.

Appreciate your thoughts on the ACG collection especially for those of us who can't view the pieces in person.

Aren't the ACG jackets Goretex though?

I'm debating between picking up the ACG Trench/long bomber or Arcteryx Veilance Partition AR Coat or maybe the Galvanic IS.

  5. Well, I have found out that the wool softshell part is not, e.g., in the seat. There, it's the same cotton twill that was used in the Voronoi and (for me, anyways), simply disintegrated. So, definitely nothing I'll want to try out.

Appreciate the feedback. I'll hold off.

  6. So, anyone had experiences with the Anode Pant yet? I just asked The Bird about its durability, and they told me they haven't heard of any issues, but the material is the same as on the Voronoi - which disintegrated within a few months in all the worst places.

I'm reminded of choice words I heard from Conroy Nachtigall...

Not good, that. (Or is nobody having issues?)

Did you find out anything? I am curious to know too..

  7. One of the dudes at the DC store knows me well. Popped in to get some tech wash because I ran out and didn't feel like schlepping all the way out to REI. "You're a medium, right?" he asks. Turns out they got a single Indisce blazer in a delivery this week and it was my size.

That's awesome! Been eyeing the Indisce too.

    DISCLAIMER:

This is hate/love upgrade based on the personal styling preference.

    INTRO:

I have probably spend so much time hanging out on streets and aggressive inline skating that I cannot wear my pants the adult way. So all my pants worn with oversized waist placed on the hips area. Fortunatelly my job does not require any formal clothing (in fact we were told that the more edgy we dress the better) so I spend all my days in dropped crotch pants/shorts.

This with a combination of the fact that I am quite short (<165cm) and not skinny makes choosing right size of bottoms hard for me. With jeans I used to go with 34 which equals size L ACRONYM. But size L is designed for much taller guys than I am, rendering desired baggy and tappered look.

For AW1516 I picked the awesome P10A-CH in size L. I love the radical design of the pockets, My girlfriend was not really into them and commented the look this way: "You look like a anime character" which is the best complimet I ever got:) The pants are longer for my build and when worn for a while the legs fall down a bit and I do not like it. I prefer the tappered fit for couple of years now on so I decided to customize the pants with a feature inspired by the JACKETSLINGæ.

    GO:

â–³ P10A-CH INSIDE OUT WITH THE PANTSWINGæ

Basicaly what I did is that there is rubber band sewn to the inside lower leg seams and a triglide buckle for adjusting. The rubber band allows for unrestricted movement as intended and fit as desired.

Pants sling is next level stuff.  very creative.

  9. I also got to try the J51-WS felt the need to size up to xl. L felt tight everywhere especially p2p and shoulders. That jacket felt really soft, light, but warm. Not too puffy either. I'm considering of buying it hopefully later this winter.

Like most people I sized up too. Definitely worth picking up as it's a nice piece of extra warmth to layer under the j47.

What size do you wear the p15s in?
