I have some isaora shorts and they are abysmally bad. terrible freedom of movement, you can hear stitches snap if you squat; and worst of all pockets have that terrible orientation where your phone can't decide which way to sit inside the pocket and thus constantly feels like it's going to fall out

for one that's off the beaten tourist path, there's a very tiny but awesome town called Okutama that is the very last stop on the Ome line out from Tokyo (via Chuo line). There are some inexpensive ryokans that you can stay at and there's a lot of beautiful day hikes including one up to Lake Okutama which is a water source for Tokyo. It is just the right size for a 1 or 2-night trip

Okutama also is known for its wasabi horticulture lol you can get some fresh-ass wasabi there

grabbed the SISP slip on boots from Haven. I usually wear 8.5, got them in 41. They are slightly large in thick wool socks but definitely a size too big in regular socks. Recommend sizing down a half size! I'm trying to exchange them...

Typical accommodation in Tokyo is just kind of expensive unfortunately, I'm staying in an AirBnB in a couple weeks time and taking the whole place. That is the strategy I recommend. If you select the "whole home" option you will be probably able to find something under hotel prices with more than one bedroom.

Note that legislation just changed and you'll need to stay at 7 days or more in an AirBnB for it to be legal.

Nowadays smaller tattoos are mostly fine but if you're nearly full-body you might have a tougher time with the onsens. I'd probably wear light pants in most places if you can, it won't be too hot in May

Definitely some interesting stuff. This last FW season aside, seems like they've been more of a tech-materials with classic look type of thing. Does anyone know much about this SOLOTEX material mentioned on one of the Jackets? Looks like it's supposed to be soft and have shape retention

this isn't really the thread for this but grailed's redesign really bothers me. It's completely aesthetic and they actually removed some useful features. search and filters STILL has has awful and confusing usability

wow so many good pieces on grailed now. guess everyone is selling off old stuff for the march drop, it's really tempting to pick up some older cool pieces but if ss16 is gonna be that strong I guess I should protect my wallet haha
