Hey. New here and just getting into ACR.

 

I picked up a J25-WS (Large) and absolutely love it. Now I want a more substantial Acronym jacket and am looking at the J47-GT, J43-GT, J32-GT, etc (the simpler short jackets).

 

However, the local shop has limited stock and sizes to try on, and size info online seems inconsistent and hard to compare to my current jackets. (i.e. Haven vs End vs Acronym website list different measurements for 1/2 chest).

 

If I'm a L in the J25-WS, would it be safe to assume an L in the other jackets is likely the best bet? The measurements make it look like I could be an M or and L, but it's hard to tell.

I am NOT the resident ACR sizing expert but I have can say without a doubt that the J25 is the slimmest-fitting ACR anything I've encountered. If it fits perfect I'd say your size is definitely L

damn.... maybe shouldn't have passed on the new ones... perhaps I should think about letting my P10-ch go and pick up a new one in the fall

is it just me or is the new P10 series slimmer than the last one? been thinking they look that way in the acrnm.com pictures, but today I definitely IDed a black pair in soho and they seem significantly tighter from calf through the ankle area

yeah the A is so ridiculous with the overlapping pockets. j47a is probably my favorite thing I own

jbob is correct. those inception pockets are insanely useful (not only for stashing entire bubble teas)

Yup, never timed it but after wearing it for a bit they'll work themselves out.  BTW, was at BBG US yesterday and saw a 3A-1 behind the counter--yours?

I broke the tab at the same place, it's a weak spot on otherwise very well-made shoe. It's really easy to repair/stitch and will look good as ne.

This is what I was hoping to hear, did you get it repaired professionally then?

have it replaced with milspec webbing, will look and work better

so I returned the SISP sneakers and I got another pair in a size that fits me but I was devastated to find that when they arrived the pull tab on one of the shoes was partially destroyed T____T

does anyone have a recommendation for what to do about this? I can always return them and get a full refund but I'd really just prefer having these damn shoes. IDK if there is any hope for repairing them though

think of it like this. airbnb is still illegal in NYC as well, but they allow it. like NYC, Japan values the mad tourism money airbnb is enabling but it also freaks them out that there are tons of white people coming to hang out. This new law is their way of drawing a line in the sand that allows them to tacitly be okay with airbnb while still claiming they don't like it.

this legislation is in full effect now, but you'll probably be fine. like herpsky said the onus is on the hosts. if the hosts were fine with using airbnb in its quasi-legal state before, they'll likely still be fine with it now. and you booked your trip already so they aren't going to cancel it, but you might have more difficulty finding a <1 week stay in the future

They don't look as cropped as the p17 or 23, and this model is 6'1"... not that cropped rly?

thinking the p20... kinda concerned because i'm a skinny piece of shit and can't make my p10s look good but maybe i stand the chance with a p20.
