the way the black prestos look remind me strongly of Raiden's foot design from MGRR

gotta say that Minaal bag looks like it suffers from the usual problem minimal bags have: they photograph well but once you put anything but inflated plastic bags inside they look totally misshapen and awful. Anyone want to comment on whether they experienced that with the veilance Nomin?

Overall I get the sense that there are are lots of cool independent brands doing their own thing and producing original designs, easily on par with the quality of better known labels. I don't think these brands have any desire to be on the international hype train. They don't seem to participate much in the overarching stylistic trends that the rest of the fashion industry and internationally renowned Japanese brands do. In fact I'd say the opposite is true. These independent brands seem to stake out niches and play an important role in driving forward the overall Japanese fashion ecosystem, and sometimes the shockwaves reverberate out on an international scale
I have to say though this analysis is based strongly on intuition. gonna need some backup.

ah that's so sick. Thought i'd be the only one to post j21 pics this season but you got me beat haha. Wish mine fit like that! mine is a medium / size too big for me but i get a lot of use out of it in the warmer months regardless

P10-CH has Schoeller Coldblack tech in it so it doesn't heat up that quickly. Do the other materials have this? Whenever I wear mine in direct sunlight I never get too hot. Additionally they are pretty loose in the upper half and that helps.
But they are a relatively thick fabric and that itself could make it hot. It sounds like direct sunlight isn't your real problem, it's being in a humid tropical environment...

this is really cool but I'm starting to feel uncomfortable about how much Nike is using Acronym as a reference point

Suppose I can share this writing / design / project I launched today. If you're into brands you might enjoy.

there always seem to be a consistent amount of J32 and J27 on grailed up for grabs. why is that? Is the fit not what people expect? Are they too "plain" of pieces to have dropped ACR-tier cash money on?

But where are the starcraft fans ;______;

Read through the history and haven't seen starcraft mentioned in years, are there are any surviving starcraft fans here who follow the pro scene?

I have both of these jackets. coming from the J47a it was kind of a shock getting the J25 and feeling how thin it is, but after some time with it I have nothing but positive feelings. it outclasses every windbreaker in terms of weather performance and fit. I wouldn't wear it in a downpour on purpose but if I think it will rain I just bring it and it handles 4/5 situations. also there's more reason to use the jacketsling with the J25 than any other acronym jacket I have.
give it a shot and you will come to love it. 10/10 would buy a $600 windbreaker again
