Yep, jcrew x Alden with antiqued edges (by me) and brass eyelets from local cobbler
They're my favourite boots
Can you spare the details on how you antiqued them? I've been wanting to do the same thing to a pair of LWBs myself.

If you haven't already seen today's style profile, there you have it. I've seen these in person and they are spectacular. Wesley who works for 3s also has an excellent pair you can see in the latest crewneck sweatshirt blog post.

For a more frequently washed, less contrasty pair, scroll down my insta and a see a pair that came in through SELA for repairs. Link in wig.
WHOA. Although not necessarily 3Sixteen, SEXIH07IIIBK jacket on his looks amazing.

Not much for me to say about belts. I've had a simple Corter Leather belt for 5 or so years. It does the job.
My dumb observation of the day concerns t-shirts. I've been wearing my SC Okis quite regularly over the last couple weeks, and wouldn't you know it, all of my better quality t-shirts that have a more vintage cut to them, look great with a proper higher waisted repro cut. This is especially true of my 3sixteen indigo pocket tees, which are so horrendously boxy and short that I barely ever wear them.
Ever since I got my Okinawas, I've had to hem almost all of my casual t-shirts so the length is appropriate. How are you liking the indigo tees? I've been eyeing for short and boxy t-shirts replace some of mine.

@itsbenhere I'm loving the yellowish mixed into the weave. Reminds me of the wool sweaters you copped a few weeks ago.

@itsbenhere I'll try to track them down!
I'm basically looking for a fit with ~11-11.5 thigh and like around a slightly smaller leg (~"7.0-8.0) leg with a "10.5-11 rise. In essence, a slightly slimmer fit than my SC Okis in a tagged 31.
Presently, a size 30 Warehouse 800 would fit the bill perfectly but I'm a big fan of TFH's aesthetic and details.
In an ideal world, I would drop by Blue in Green and SENY and compare the fits in person. lol

What kind of thigh/leg shrinkage should I expect on a pair of 3009s? They look massive considering the rest of the fit, imo, on the Self Edge site.
I'm a TTS 31 but, judging from the waist size, I should probably opt for a tagged 32 from the waist.

@itsbenhere LOVE the fit on the red cardigan and the Rite Aid Shirt.

Hi I just purchased a pair of ST-120-xk Kibata Shadow in a size 33. I soaked them and they fit perfectly everywhere unaltered.....except the crotch. It just seems to fit very weird on me. Can I fix this by wearing these around the house or to bed to stretch them out or is it a lost cause? I don't feel comfortable wearing them out because it really looks like they are hugging my crotch...it is just very odd looking. When I walk it is kind of very very very......they hug my crotch. This is my first pair of unsanforized jeans and well....I was just hoping for a smoother experience but......anyways. Any advice would be helpful...even future advice on how to judge fit for jeans you'll be shrinking down would be helpful as well. Also if you have any interest in the jeans for purchase.....let me know as I might be selling them. I normally wear a size 31.
This sounds like a rise/fit issue so a gratuitous 4k UHD crotch shot may be in order.
Have you tried wearing them lower on the waist?

Iron Heart Beatle Busters in 2011... Still have them, but way too tight and dislike Iron Heart now. Consolidation part of me wants to get rid of them but they were the first article of clothing where I was like holy shit...
Why don't you like Iron Heart anymore?

How much is the Glory Park Western Flannel?

Not bad, gets the job done for sure. My hairs a little too short since I got sick of it and buzzed it a few months ago.. I used it a few years ago and I remember murrays being way more of a bitch to get out of my hair then. Seems not as crazy anymore which might be in my head, but either way it's nice!
If you want something that's does everything Murrays does but better in almost all categories, I would recommend Dax Wave and Groom. It's easier to get in and out of the hair and costs just as much as Murrays if not cheaper depending where you look. IIRC, I see them in most CVS's in SoCal.

@itsbenhere How are you liking the Murrays?

@itsbenhere I'm not surprised for your love of the 3005s! Your fits in them convinced me that slim-tapered fits are overplayed nowadays; straight fit gang or die.

Yep, I have the 3009s too! They're great and nothing wrong with them, but they were my gateway into looser pairs and I wanted something looser for comfort and aesthetics. It should be a real testament to how awesome the pioneer denim is when you consider I put maybe 6 months into them just to get the 3005 later. And this is coming from someone who thinks you should only have 1 or 2 pairs of regular ol' blue jeans...from any brand!
Only thing I'm a tad bummed about is the dumb spot on my leg, it came from carrying my skateboard and it rubbing against it every once in a while. Oh well, wabi-sabi?
Any updates on your 3005As?

@youngofthesoonest I love the pins on your jacket especially the "Dill with it" pin from Pork! I have their "All American" hot dog in the same place for mine.

@itsbenhere I blame it on the fact that the buttons are massive and the sleeves are a tad too long. I tend to squeeze them otfen when i wear it and it has improved over time.

Yeah, it was nice for sure, but the sleeves did this really annoying thing that I couldn't get past. I'm not sure if they were too long or if the seam there was too thick, but the part between the rivet and the cuff was always open and flared out. It didn't look so hot.
@itsbenhere. I'm the guy who bought your jacket! Is the flare on the arms what you're referring to?
EDIT: Here's a more recent picture(today)

@lazevedo The nep on the service boots/boondockers is ridic!Corded soles are gorgeous too.

@itsbenhere Solid fit. After I bought your IH-526Jod, I've been jonesin for TFH's or SC's Type II; a man after my own heart.

Somewhat of a random question but how does TFH create their signature vertical fades? I was thinking that the warp thread are thicker than the weft threads so they fade more prominently.

@artisandenim I miss how hairy mine used to be. beautiful shots.

@altoclefchris I'd like to see some evo of your supply jacket too. It looks b-e-a-utiful.

@Broark I would jump on Self Edge's collab with the OG (not modded) length if I did not recently cop this.

@MrWest I would recommend Iron Heart! I bought one of the IH-526Jod which is essentially a classic Type III w/out pockets using their signature 21oz denim overdyed black. Judging from your picture, it appears Iron Heart type IIs fit slimmer than Samurai and may be what you're looking for. Below are a few fit pics.

Sounds fun! I'd be up for being a sub depending on the measurements.
