    BIG closed?

Bad picture, but just want to show off my new M-65 jacket; picked up from Army Navy Sales - it's from 1967. Alone with Sugar Cane jeans and Red Wing boots. Christmas shopping with my daughter.
  3. Probably impossible to find, but it does sound great. I might go with the Buzz since I don't have an olive-colored jacket.
  4. Studio D'Artisan M-65 Jacket 4377 in navy blue or Buzz Rickson's olive colored M-65? Confounding factor, the SDA is a bit cheaper. Or, what other M-65's do you guys like? Iron Heart just came out with a heavier wool one but it's a bit over my current budget.
  5. Shoes that look better with age...

Buttero sneakers. You might see where my little dog got a hold of the back of one of the ankles. :-)
  6. What about Jeans Jackets ....

Iron Heart Jacket - breaking it in took a little time, but it's pretty comfortable now
  7. Shoes that look better with age...

I've been wearing these around a bit... probably time for a good cleaning.
  8. Only $376.88 for a wool vest? What a deal. LOL
  9. Pure Blue Japan

    crazy cool shirt...wow
  10. What about Jeans Jackets ....

Cross-post from small questions - looking for any info on this type-III based on the labels. Not sure if it is LVC, mainline Levis, Made and Crafted, etc.... I really have no idea.. All I know is what is on the tags shown and the denim is not selvedge.
  11. What about Jeans Jackets ....

Nicely broken in - what kind of jacket is it?
  12. Yes, certainly sounds reasonable. I'm wondering why the big E on the neck label and the small e on the red tab mostly. Does this mean it's a LVC production of something from the 80s? Do they even do that? LOL I'm not sure what the point would be.
  13. Found this denim jacket....here are some pictures of it. Details - denim feels like average weight, maybe 14 oz. Small E red tab but large E tag where patch usually is. Made in USA. Non-selvedge denim. Can anybody tell me anything about this jacket? All that I really know is that it's made after 1970-something and Made in the US. Specifically, I am interested in the origin of the "LEVIS Casuals" tag as it related to a jacket like this. Also, there is a tag with some codes on it.

Sad and the end of an era. Cone denim was iconic, but it's hard to compete with mainstream cost-cutting measures. Hold on to your cone denim, because you're the last of a dying breed.

Mason, your boots look like different shades. Yes, or are my eyes going on me?
