  1. I have to say that that's not a concession I'm willing to make.  Because I'm very stubborn.

Look at the arms. That's what made me think of the ACR one. What's the harm in saying they look similar?

  2. Not that many!

I feel we should keep these big companies on there toes. Maybe it would make a good thread subject? But then again, I don't wanna snake the originators by offering up cheaper, worse copies.

  3. Puma's Evo tech parka copying the short sleeve (the pocket doesn't look like it has a zip entry like the J1A). (Edit: ACR have done the short sleeve on the right in the past lol)

The chest pocket looks ACG inspired. The sleeve closures are a bit like veilance's field jacket.

  4. This fit is so true to the brands DNA:

    stone-island-shadow-project-fall-winter-

It still would have made sense 10, 20 and 30 years ago.

This season has made me want a sweat from them. There other seasons haven't done that so kudos.

My main gripe with shadow project is that there is no one place you can look at all the individual items. They spread their product thinly over lots of stores.

  5. I'm sorry, but I can tell you now for a fact it was all about immigration, and closing the borders to foreigners, i.e. anyone who isn't white and not born in England. It was about kicking out "Johnny foreigner" and keeping "English jobs for English people". The whole breaking from Brussels so we could govern ourselves was a smokescreen, or should we say a convenient lie to put in front of people.

Why do you think Farage released a huge Leave poster campaign two days before the referendum which had a photo of refugees and the words "Breaking point" if it wasn't about immigration? Why was immigration such a hot topic for the months leading up to it. Why did the Leave campaign keep banging on about how the NHS and other services are under strain due to the free movement of workers. Pointing out that terrorists could enter freely through our borders, and because of this we shouldn't be accepting refugees.

Perhaps in the US you received the "filtered" version of the campaign's media coverage.

Also unfortunately, the majority of the British voting population that did push it through were uneducated. The Financial Times released trend graphs of those who voted leave and remain, the sad fact is those who had a degree or a higher qualification heavily leaned towards Remain, while those who didn't have a degree heavily leaned towards Leave.

I agree with you in places but think there's bad analysis and a snobbishness in other places. They weren't "uneducated". They were not educated to degree level ffs.

"But some 51 percent of the total and 47 percent of Remain supporters said immigration had no impact on them personally. Those saying immigration had no impact on them personally was even higher among Leave supporters, at 52 percent."

How do you account for this then? You forget the immense power of nationalism.

The swell of racist people with no solidarity and no intelligence that couldn't give a fuck about the refugees is why these things need to be analyzed and fought right now, not just moaned about on the internet.

  6. It's like people hate themselves as working class or something. Blow me down, I did not see that coming.

Copping junts was low on my list of reasons for voting.

Triple 5 Soul hip pack convertible backpack

"It was in the mid 90’s.  I had moved to NYC to go to school at F.I.T. and was skateboarding all over the city.  If I knew that I was going to be out all day and into the night, I’d have a backpack.  If I was only going out for a few hours I had a hip pack.  One day I stumbled across a bag that was both by a brand called Triple Five Soul. It was a hip pack that could transform into a backpack.  My mind was blown!  That was when I realized that bags could serve a specific purpose and weren’t just for holding my stuff."

Re-post of this from the waist bag thread.

Kenya running vest from a brand called Janji. I don't like the stuff they've done in the past but this could be something once its released in August. The traditional print border is pretty different.
