I never even knew keyboards were a thing!
@Cucoo good to see you're still around...
Thanks! Pretty cool to see so many of the old gang still around

Sorry, I haven’t got the time to fall into a wormhole today but this will bug the shit out of me if I don’t get clarity on the subject ??
Mechanical keyboards are a rabbit hole like many other enthusiast hobbies... it's not just about loud and clacky. People are enjoying different things, personally I like a tactile feel without an actual click best, and I'm even starting to lean towards silent switches. But sometimes a vintage looking and sounding loud beast of a keyboard is great fun. It's a bit like enjoying different denim weights
Then there's different form factors, keyboards with screens or knobs or both, and thousands of keycap sets in every style and color imaginable. One of the reasons of my dive into this world was when I saw this set with Japanese sublegends, I liked the look and that was that...
Oh by the way, just today I got delivered a denim usb c cable! No chainstitch though

@Cucoo My eldest son is massively into keyboards and switches too. Every birthday and Christmas over the past few years he’s added to his collection. His goal is to get the loudest, clackiest keys he can find - we can hear him through the whole house!
I ask him how many keyboards does he need. He responds how many jeans do I need. Little sod.
I've been on that loudest fucking keyboard you can manage journey too. My home-office-adjacent wife is not amused
But only a little while until she wants her own custom keyboard! (Just like she will want her own pair of Japanese denim any day now!)
There's actually a keycap set "inspired by Japanese Denim" by GMK called "indigo" but it missed the major opportunity of showing some fading instead of just all blue keycaps, so even with the selvedge line on the enter key I'm not interested ^^

Also where’s some of the other guys who used to post a lot?
@Cucoo,Oh don't you worry, I actually still have sufu open in one of those tabs that I never close! Boy was I confused/happy about that notification icon!
In short I'm still in denim, right now on wear day #423 in a pair of Sugar Cane Hawaii, I just went on to other obsessions
At first it was photography and I spent ages and €€€ to build up a collection of vintage lenses to use on Sony full frame bodies, and after that I went down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole. Trying out switches and keycaps like I used to try on jeans and shirts!
Happy to see the board is still around and active

Hello everyone! What do you think about the processing of captured images? Because the color changes depending on the shooting time, weather, climate, indoor, outdoor, and camera type, it is difficult to take a photo close to the actual photo. I don't think you need to do anything with the faded image of jeans. And I don't do it. It is difficult to take a picture.
Yeah, we should have agreed on light conditions for pictures, "only photos taken at ~ 5000 lux are permissable"
I think light processing is fine, since it's necessary to get similar colors between pictures. It's not really possible to make sure no one over-processes his pics unless you only allow RAW files being handed in with the judges developing the RAWs

So no judges?

Here's mine fresh after washing. Color isn't consistent, #1 is truest I guess.
I've noticed that the back pocket stitching is actually starting to break which is a first for me
I've worn these a lot and exclusively for many months. 304 wear days, 18 washes (30° mostly), no drier. While I wish mine were a few cm longer, I liked the cut and fit from the beginning. They held up nicely, right pocket is starting to fray at the top but other than that no repears needed - just what a desk jockey lifestyle gets you, I guess.
I've really enjoyed this contest, although my participation on Sufu has been zero for some time now...

Damn, it's over.
Been enjoying my 20s very much although I still would've loved a bit more length - I've never really gotten used to the single cuff. It's always strange to wear heavier denim after these. Been wearing them most of the time besides a few 1-2 month stints in various LVCs. 304 wear days by now and 19 washes I think?
I'll take some pictures for the pic thread soon, and I'll try to post some in here as "what the jeans have been up to"

Rainy Saturday so we went to the new museum in town, the Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte (Centre of Bavarian History), since entry is free for the first few weeks after opening.
There's the Oktoberfest Löwenbräu lion in the foyer
And relevant to this thread - a short panel on Levi Strauss
The museum is worth a visit if you're ever in Regensburg.

the wider part on the right should be serrated, so dealers can tear off that strip to record what they've sold. I could only tell for sure with a couple more photos.
I was once told that you'd tear off the strip and keep it for future reference to know what size to get when you go shopping for jeans! You never stop learning...

From last week
Mister Freedom / Lee 101 / LVC ('66) / Mister Freedom
I've had that Mulholland jacket for a while and I'm still not sure what kind of weather this thing is meant for. It's heavy, but not that warm, so it's kinda chilly for early spring mornings (especially in the arms that aren't corduroy lined like the body) but too warm once the sun comes out... at least it looks good

Well that's interesting to know! As I said, I just haven't really noticed puckering like that along the outseams, so I was just curious.

Right, saw the non selvedge in the pics with turn ups after I posted. I don't know, they just look a bit weird IMO, no offense

The 1947 arrived and I'm glad I took a 31, here they are compared to a '76 in size 30 with maybe a month of wear, so all stretched out:
Gonna keep them. With the 20s contest jeans and both the '66 and '76 in my current rotation I'm debating if I should wash them yet, but what the hell, probably gonna throw them in the machine tomorrow.

In Tuscany the area around Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci is great, bot towns are great little gems. They're located a short drive down from the Livorno/Pisa area and totally worth a stay. You should get a rental car and just go on a road trip down to Sicily!
