Mind posting the measurements for them? I might be interested in buying them

Rumor has it that God revealed himself to Max, and told him how to achieve heavenly fades.

LVC 1947s or Sugarcane 1947s?
Is there any difference in the fit? Are the Levi's anything special beyond being Levi's? I know they're not worth the retail price which is what makes the Sugarcanes so tempting.

Megatron, that post was top notch. As far as Lawless is concerned, I don't think I've ever seen a new company or manufacturer that hasn't had its trial by fire. Nobody does it right the first time. Lawless might have bit off more than they could chew, but I still think they can have a place in the market if they can salvage their reputation and respond properly to criticism. I'm all for denim diversity lol.
I think crowdsourcing is also an interesting aspect to it all. I think it really has a lot to do with how we perceive these new companies, in a bad way. It shaves away any sort of credibility when you can have a group of guys who have virtually no experience running a business, let alone one that involves a skilled craft, get a crap ton of money from "investors" who also don't have any idea how to invest well, other than get their discounted gift-thing. We don't get the neat origin story from humble beginnings, the same sense of security knowing that the business has been going for so many years and only getting better.
And though that's not the case for every crowdsourced company, I've found that that stigma of new-ness still carries over and makes it hard for myself, and probably others to respect them.
Slightly related, I sort of found an answer to Tmadd's question on the last thread when he asked if they actually made the jeans in Arizona or in an LA factory, all I've been able to find was a little sentence about it on their kickstarter page,
" In a vintage building in Los Angeles and a modern store in Phoenix, American craftspeople come together every day with one thing on their mind—hand crafting jeans, purses, jackets, belts and other accessories that they can be proud of. "
So my guess would be they do contract the work out to a factory in LA.

Oh nice the pics are here. That's a bad ass pair. The combs look like a trippy painting I really like this pair. Good job dude!

How did you go about ordering Sauce Zhans? Can you buy straight from Taobao, or do you have to get a chinese proxy? Their stuff looks pretty killer...

i need a natural leather belt for my my ps. i have a size 28 and a 1 1/2 belt is too thick/wide/big for them. any suggestions?
(i know its supposed to be on the 3rd hole, just showing how big the belt is compared to the front)
I think that's hilarious. I'm not sure where you got yours but I have one I made from a blank full grain belt strip from Tandy Leather Factory. The quality is pretty good as I've had it for over a year now with zero issues. It's aging nicely I think. But more importantly, unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't look as thick as that behemoth belt you've got there.

Damn are you insured for all of that?!

Damn it's funny to think how that used to be a convenience

Sort of unrelated question, but can anyone tell me why certain shirts and jackets have that diagonal button slot? I've seen a few brands use that, Rogue Territory comes to mind. Does it serve (or did it serve) a purpose other than decoration?

...Did you just accidentally text us?

I think that sole looks really cool. Is it like...a composite material? Nep? lol

Right on! Like peacedoff said they will loosen up. I'm glad you love your pair. IHs are badass

I think they look ok. A little on the tight side but you don't look like you're bursting out of them. If you haven't washed them yet you're probably in for a rough re-stretch out period.
But more importantly I think if you want us to convince you to like them, you probably don't like them yourself.

That is my dream fit. I can't believe how bad I want one of these now. Well-freaking done.

What kind of denim is that? It looks incredible!
Also the pup is a nice touch to fit pics lol

That really blows. You'd think higher end denim workwear repro, would be able to withstand heavy working. I mean isn't it in the nature of jeans themselves? Oh well they still look really good.

Probably any mall store...but if you want authentic or authentic-looking fades, you could just get some cool vintage pair from a thrift or consignment store and get them tapered. That's my suggestion anyway.

I'd actually feel more comfortable if everyone submitted formal requests of permission to the photographers before posting.
