Just imagine the stuff that was in here, then wipe the drool from your chin...
And then he'd be like "Ok that'll be 20 dollars"
It's good to dream...

That closet...how many pairs are in your collection, and do you ever lay them all on the floor and roll around in them? lol

I'm glad that the super-ultra-mega high contrast fading isn't as revered anymore. Some of those just look like a snot rag....

Man these make me want to go back to the 50s-60s to buy clothes. There wasn't a cheap way out really. Everything seems like it had to be done the right way to even be done at all.

I like how the lumberjack dudes are sporting small single cuffs. You don't see it much in old photos. Dude, keep em coming these are great.

That texture is incredible. Great post.

I have a line like that going down my right leg too on my Gustins from the spin cycle too. Not going to lie I'm pretty jealous of those Spiral Galaxy knees!
They still look great, but was there considerable shrink? Or are they fine?

Are those 710s? They're bitchin

That's like my dream fit, dude. Awesome.

These look awesome. Also,
...all edges are taped (not stitched)...
I'm not familiar with sneaker construction, this wouldn't affect durability would it? Or are you just saying that they're made by normal vulcanized sneaker standards and not welted to the sole?

Don't do it.. spring for the extra cost of the selvedge, the fabric is completely different, only the weight is the same between the two. They also age differently and feel different right off the bat.
This is new to me. I've always assumed non-selvedge is just the denim on the bolt further in from the edges. It's actually a whole different denim all together? Is it like a larger, "economy" priced bolt of denim?

Thanks for the detailed response dude! Yeah I think I'm going to get them especially at that price. I thought I'd hold out for some 501zs but I'm down for trying something new (or really old I guess lol). I'm just gonna work out how I want to size them. Gotta get that tape out again....

So with Vente-Privee's LVC sale going on, a pair of the 1878 pantaloons caught my eye. Any thoughts on them? Is the lack of a left butt pocket frustrating? For 65 bucks though....

^Kiya had mentioned before that Josh sizes down when he models for SE product shots because that's how he prefers to wear them. As a result, the sleeves and waist sometimes hit him higher than a person buying the same product in their "actual" size.
Thanks, cool to know. And duuuude that shirt is killer

Hey just kind of curious, does the model actually wear his shirts in that size? Or does he size down or wash to show what it'll look like later? They just all seem kinda short on him and the sleeves on the grey one especially look short. Not that they look bad or anything. They're beautiful shirts.

Looks good. Though how does the seat feel?

Hey someone else has button fades too! Do you use a laptop a lot?

Dude at the bottom is yoked to hell. Lol I'll give these guys a year before I take them seriously. I mean really the browser tab is screaming at me in all caps, "PUT AMERICANS TO WORK"

So bitchin. I like them against the hardwood floors too. Really makes them stand out.
Does anyone have a spare IH trucker hat they're wanting to part with? I saw that "DENIM FOREVER" one and never wanted a hat so bad in my life...

So given all that's happened in this thread with all the varieties of quality with the different selvedge 501stfs, Should I go buy the regular ones from a few years back off of Rakuten for ~$100, or just wait till some 501z LVCs go on sale? (I'm looking for a slimmer fit)

I picked up a pair of washed '54 501ZXX for my girlfriend for $75. Are they worth that? Yes. The usual asking price for washed LVC 501s is over $300, and they are not worth that.
Did you happen to see any raws of that cut wherever you bought those?

Any good suggestions for a black workshirt? I need one for work and was hoping to get something that'll last me.
