  1. On the subject of the Galvanic, was there ever a non IS version? I couldn't see one in the past collections but maybe i missed it. I'm after a decent grey trench with removable hood and that would fit the bill perfectly, but don't need the insulation over the summer.

As S17 starts to take shape i begin to realize that this is going to be the most expensive AV collection for me, ever. So much great stuff.

You said that last season as well ;)

  3. The Balenciaga's have just shown up in white as well and both colours are now up for pre-order. Unfortunately, chances of them having nanosphere are slightly less than zero i think. They should probably come with a can of Crep Protect!

  4. So just to confirm, I went to Arcteryx in London today and tried all the pants on. While I do work out a fair bit, I've not exactly got Branch Warren type legs. The new Verronoi's were so tight on my thighs that I couldn't lift my knee to parallel in them. The Indisce AR were absolutely beautiful and the Windstopper gave them a decent bit of stretch but still significantly hampered my range of motion. So yeah, Veilance pants are just for guys with skinny legs, which is a real shame because I'd buy all of them in a heartbeat if they fitted me.

As a side, they have 7 of the limited edition monitor down jackets from the NY concept store in stock. That's a seriously nice jacket, like a grey melange / almost carbon tweed face on it.

  5. Do the -DS pants really wear that badly? I've also heard of piling and other issues. Looking to pick something up in -DS in SS17 so I just wanna be sure. Hope to get some pants that I can wear long term

IVe had the P10-DS since they came out (a year ago? not sure) and more recently the P24-DS and I've not had any piling or any problems with them at all, even with some decent wear. That's not to say they aren't susceptible to piling, just be more cognisant of it if you're regularly pairing them with low slung messengers or stuff that could exacerbate potential piling,

  6. Has anyone handled the alpine jacket, or any review / fit pics ?

Personally i didn't like it and ended up sending it back along with the techfleece hoodie.

I wasn't a fan of the zippers, the bottom half of the jacket was just too puffy and didn't fit as well as the top part, and the hood construction was really annoying. The TF hoodie just felt cheap and the hood just looked ridiculous on me. This is all totally personal preference ofc, i'm sure some people will love them.

  7. Thanks for the help, I know waist measurements aren't the only factor, but in this case it probably is for me. I'm usually a size 34 in most of what I own, so I'm not sure if the size M would even fit me. That's why I'd like to know which one to go for, and if the size M is actually larger than a 32, since the measurements don't add up. Another big factor is that there are way more size M p10's floating around than there are size L's.

It depends on the material. If you were buying DS which have loads of stretch, you might fit a medium depending on how close to TTS you are. Stotz is totally unforgiving though, there's no margin for error on waist size, and the CH has a little give.

  8. Guys, I'm looking for a soultion for wet feet this winter. Got all geared up with waterproof stuff, but the shoes are the weak spot. I'm thinking of three options:

    - getting waterproof shoes (only ugly ones unfortunately, all black utility prestos were kinda ok, but still that's not it)

    - tried liquiproof on my qasas - didn't work at all

    - waterproof socks? does anybody have any experience with those?

My Acrnm prestos are fine getting soaked if I've got my Sealskinz on. No wet feet.
