  1. franklin's would be dope, 'that burger joint' aka hopdoddy is way hyped but i've never been. kinda richie crowd though. honestly there's this place on guadalupe and 29th called burger tex, and it's the shit. spicy korean bulgogi burger, and quite a few other options as well.

i would also recommend tatsuya for ramen, elizabeth street cafe for pork buns, pho, etc...

if u want mexican u should go to the east side for el azteca or u could go to el alma

honorable mentions include east side kings, torchys tacos, uchi/uchiko, and yea

  2. what are using to make the 6v battery fit? right now im using a bunch of tin foil to connect it lol

actually have an adapter that came with the camera, you can find some information about adapters for the yashica's here

depending on how much you care, some tin foil works fine... i think also there are two smaller batteries you can try and connect (?) to complete the circuit. kind of have no idea about that though lol i just know this adapter works fine and is v easy to mess with.

  3. ordered a yashica electro 35G on ebay for 22.50 shipped and took it out for the first time to take random shitty photos while i was skating today. really hyped on this camera considering i only paid 20 bucks for it.

wow got the same camera recently off etsy for quite cheap as well and haven't actually ran a roll through it yet. i'm going to take it out and see what happens, will post results.

those shots turned out quite well

  4. looks like a pretty boring cover all. lol

that's actually why i like it. i've been in a really conservative headspace lately and  i'm definitely dressing accordingly. i like the idea of a worker's jacket, and it fits well with the rest of my wardrobe. it's definitely v simple and unassuming, but to me it's jawnz

  5. first real winter  purchases were docs and that jacket and both should be in by end of next week. texas winters aren't particularly difficult, but we've had a few cold fronts and these would have been nice to break in. looking forward to our coldest month (january)

  6. i'm starting my first semester this spring at ACC. going to community college to complete core classes / get an associates and then moving on to (ideally) UT for bachelors.

considering studying journalism at ACC for the associates, applying for a study abroad course before i finish it, and when i do finish move back to beijing and get a certificate in mandarin from BLCU.

sensible first steps? just asking for some advice... no idea what it is i want to major in or do with my life. is there a more practical associates i should land at ACC that will do more for me? i already speak mandarin decently well and i want to finally get fluent enough to utilize in a career setting.
