  1. @nutusufu

Proxy when paypal isn't an option. It's hassle free.

I just ordered the redhawks yesterday so hopefully sometime this week I'll post some pics. And yes they are the BK zero denim. 17oz.

  2. Ordering from Frisbee rakuten sucked. 15 Google translated emails I finally found the nerve to commit, though paypal not an option. They hit me with with a 4 (day) step process and kept stressing the jeans were non washed, no returns, etc. 1st the order confirmation, then, since the jeans aren't actually in the shop, they determine the weight and shipping costs. Leads us in to day 3, where total cost has been determined and the credit card info is physically keyed in to there "system".

On the 4th and final day I get an automated call from my banks fraud unit wanting me to confirm the last 5 transactions. The voicebox was something out of radioheads OK computer, disturbing and paranoid. I knew right away it didn't go through. After all of that. Guess it throws up a red flag when your in San Fran and Tokyo at the same time. Order canceled but now, thanks to the guys at BIG soho I'm the proud owner of a pair red hawk 710s. TTS w34.

    Yee

  3. Has anyone ordered from Frisbee/Rakuten? I've emailed back and forth with them and they are willing to ship international but they don't have paypal, credit card only. I'm kinda nervous about using my visa. I've read the terms on their site as well as on rakutens. It's probably cool. Just wondering if anyone here has bought from them.

  4. Bought from selfedge and literally worn for 2 hours to eat sushi. These are still very much brand new as starchy as crisp. No creases, no funny stuff, no surprises. Don't trip, its real. They're dope but the waist is too big, hence the sale.

Unsoaked and chainstitched to 36 by selfedge.

    Cutoff hem included.

Will shrink an 1 inch in the waist and length according to Selfedge.

    Red d Slim DP-580

    Crotch rivet

    Sushi ear selvedge

    Military (lined back) pocket bags

    Tag size 34X35

The selfedge website lists the size 34 fit much differently than the:

    Actual Measurements

    Waist 36.5

    Front Rise 11

    Back Rise 15.75

    Thigh 13.25

    Hem 8.5

    Inseam 36

I have measured these obsessive, so its pretty accurate. If you need it to a 1/16 of an inch or even metric way, I'd be happy to measure again. Contact info below

  5. Can someone compare the samurai s0510xx (15oz) to a pair of lvc 1955s?

I've tried all the different types of cuts: slim straight, tapered, tapered borderline skinny, straight, but the anti-fit seems to work best for me. The only problem is the rise is a bit long for where I wear my jeans. I'm curious to know how the Texas cotton will stretch/shrink but more so if the fit is anything like my 55's. I've read BFs fit guide but the lots were a from a few years back. I'm looking into this years model. Anyone?

Whoa. 58 pages of contest hype, 15 months in, a sponsor and still no contest jeans? I guess I'm a little behind. Whoops. I guess I was inspired by the aikidou jeans I just copped. What ever happened to that contest?

  7. with which jeans? what motto? how big? sponsored or not?

    which jeans? S0500xx

what motto? Not sure what this means

    how big? 50-100?

    sponsored or not?

Sponsored sounds good but I wouldn't know how to go about getting the backing. Honestly I thought it'd be a good time to get something going since the anniversary jeans are on the outs. I'm down to get something started though.

  8. @maxpower

My measurements are approximate. I didn't pull the waist tight when I took the tape to it. More than likely its closer to 36in/. Same with the inseam, maybe 38 tops. The leg opening is more or less 9in/23cm. The rise on yours is a full inch different. Strange.

As far as soaks vs. Machine wash, I want to get the shrinkage out the way. How much more did they shrink after your wash vs. Second soak?

  9. Naniwa Special ASJS500size 34

    IMG_20131001_175403_zpsaca435cd.jpg

    Raw Measurements (rough)

    W 90cm/35.5in

    Fr 29.5cm/11.75in

    Br 39.5cm/15.75in

    Th 34cm/13.75in

    In 94cm/37in

Can't decide whether to soak or machine wash. Will post more pics soon

    @maxpower

    Thanks for the post.

  10. @devilish

    I ordered direct from rakuten.

    1. Contact the seller through rakuten and wait for response.

    2. Order and choose paypal as payment

    3. Wait for paypal invoice.

    4. Send payment

Paypal went through on Friday and at my doorstep tues.

As for measurements, I asked max_power seeing it was the same size as his pair but my rise is slightly shorter than his raw measurements. More or less I crossed my fingers. I'm very happy with them, no doubt.

  11. So I ended up order the naniwa specials from aikidou. I wasn't too sure about the BiG Black Hawks or the red ones for that matter. My thighs don't sit right in 710s. Oh well. Pics when they arrive.

    Lol BIG BLACK HAWKS

  12. @maxpower

Was thinking of buying the naniwa specials in a 34. Wondering how the thighs and the back rise measure after the soaks/wash. Also, how much does the waist stretch back? Any help would be lovely.
