    I figured that. Worried about machine washing and the waist coming in too far. From your fit guide it looks like a machine wash the only way. BTW they are the 15oz size 34. Maybe ill just deal.

  2. The Leg twist adds to the irregularity. I spent a good 900$ to find out I don't like sanforized denim.

    Off topic and random. I have my 510s right where I want them. Everything but the hem is @9in. If I soak from the knee down will the color be offf?

  3. Kicked off my weekend with my perfect fitting 510s. Everything is lovely. The exact fit I was looking for save for the length. The hem could come in a bit at just barely under 9 but whateves. From the rise on the top block to the thighs from the knee down is so comfy. Gonna try and stretch the waist a bit. I'm sure it won't be a problem. I'm psyched though. Yee

    Gonna get my homie to flick up some pics ala SLR. Stay tuned

    20 min hot then 40 min cold. Hang dried overnight with a hanger wedged in the waist. There is absolutely more shrink in these but I think I'm gonna rock em. If they get too loose ill deal with it then. Grip and rip.

    Guess its time to wash my lvc 55s and rock these:

    710 red hawk back to Gordon and the guys at BIG for a fresh pair of uncut S510XXs in the 15oz lot (15). Thank you again and again.

    Right up against my aikidou S500s the fit is pretty much dead on. And though I won't be wearing my (ideal) grail s500s, the 510s are being baptized.

    Curious to Texas stretch capabilities, anyone?

  6. Gordons customer service is above and beyond.

    Before calling me he emails me detailed pics of the last 3 redhawks in my size. Waist and thigh taped up. He goes on to apologize and stresses he doesn't want his customers to be stuck with jeans that don't fit. Even after the inch hem job. At this point he reconciles "its not a matter who's right or wrong". From here he got me thinkin, damn, did I measure them correctly? Lol. Anyway, he gonna let me swap em out and Im psyched.

    In the future I will get my jeans hemmed locally just in case they don't fit. Learning lesson.

    Thank you Gordon and BIG staff.

    I tried them on and they fit how I wanted them to fit post cold soak, snug. The waist is absolute 34" which affects the thigh measurement even though slightly. I bought them taking stretch into account. I called BIG this morning and emailed Gordon with measurement pics. Hopefully he can help me

    @501xx

    The last thing I want is to put BIG on blast and give them a faulty rep. I think maybe it was a misunderstanding or maybe an oversight on their part. I've ordered from them in the past (710xxW34) and everything worked out.

    The inseam is 37.25... A little over an inch cutoff. Not even 1.5

  8. I really stressed the thigh being 13" too. Actual measurement is 12.75. I know the return policy says unaltered merchandise but I'm hoping they can make an exception. We will see

  9. Got my redhawk 710s and they are too small. I called the shop 3 times and they told me the waist measured 35" on all 4 pairs they had in stock. So I end up gettimg them cut a few inches. Turns out the waist comes in at just barely 17". They fit too snug pre soak but absolutely no room to stretch afterwards. I'm probably stuck with these after having them altered. I'm bummed. Pics later
