New pant spotted

Looks like a P10 in 3xdry grey (same as J23-CH, SS-12 CH pants).

erlsn's twitter mentions this is "[1st Drop]" so i'm sure the different fabrics + extra pieces will come later. there are many products in the vid that aren't in this drop, p15-CH being the piece i'm most anticipating. really into the tonal drawcord and fabric choice. looks so comfortable.

I'm really excited about a comfort-fit CH pant as well, but there was a typo in that vid. The 'J27-E' is actually a J29B-WS (store page link that was cached if anyone wants a sneak peek). I'm thinking there's a chance P15-CH is a typo as well.

So what do we think of WindStopper Active Shell (WS) as a next-to-skin textile? I know that the LA3-WS isn't necessarily worn next-to-skin, but it is a shirt. 

 

Also, what do people think of the new P14 and P15 designs? I was leaning towards the P14-CH, but it's a similar style to the P9/P11, so I might actually get the P15-CH for variety.

 

Assuming there is a P15-CH. The video mentions both 14 and 15 as being CH, but the store them in S. Typo or two products?

I had no idea, is that the white part? 

With the imminent release of new 3A stock (purportedly), I'm trying to work out whether to get a 3A-1 or 3A-3TS.

 

The 3A-1 seems to have an extra zip compartment on the side that the 3TS lacks, and also has an integrated earphone cable port (which would admittedly probably go unused for me). If I did get the 3TS I would buy a 3A-MK2 as well to hold my tablet, which the 3A-1 comes with. 

 

I might also pick up a 3A-5TS, 3A-8TS or even possibly the 3A-5TSR. If I did get one of these, I would be able to use the same modules for both it and the 3TS.

 

Can anyone whose owned both help me decide?

Check out carryology if you want to find some other backpacks to look at. It's a nice little bag/wallet blog. A particularly nice one which I think warrants a look is the Minaal. 

If I had a J36, that would have ruined it for me.

you could do a interest check on a trade on just the the legging for a larger pair, someone may want a smaller size.

As some of you may know, I just bought a SET-2 over on the community sales thread (massive props to upheaval for exceptional service). It arrived today, and much to my horror the leggings don't fit

 

They're about the right length but very tight over my abnormally massive quads (every day is legs day). So, I don't know what to do here. Everything else fits fine, the shorts, the leggings over my calves, the length. It's just the girth really. Can anyone think of any way to solve this?

Modify the URL and you can grab some of the splash screens from older seasons. The only ones available on the server are 1, and 9 to 18. Wonder where 2 through 8 went...

 

I noticed that as well, nice nostalgia hit. 

Other things I noticed:

• 1 is the same as 6
• If you direct it to 2, it redirects to 12
• 16 and 17 are the same. 17 is what SS14 would have been.

Thanks for looking TaoSpace, but I was actually talking about the external garment tags that seemed to have vanished. Those tags should be on every launderable item, since they're the laundry instructions. They're on the 3 FW-1314 pieces that I own, at least (all hidden inside pockets). 

 

These are the tags that have vanished (or become un-branded)

 

Personally, I really miss them. Even if it wasn't a brand name and logo, it's still a detail, and I always liked the way these little bits of detail change the look of these clothes. It's just subtle enough to not scream 'Brand name!', while being distinct enough to stop the garment looking entirely regular.

Question for those in the subnet;

Can you see any ACR tags on any of the garments?

They kind of stopped using them around SS13, I hope they make a comeback. 

Thanks TaoSpace, I think I'll take your advice and wait for new items. I'm not a huge fan of the Microcheck pattern, much prefer a solid.
