  1. Looking to get these repaired & reinforced:

I've heard people recommend schaeffers, denim doctor & denim therapy... any other options? I'm located in Canada but don't mind shipping them elsewhere as long as it's worth the effort. I really like the jeans and would like to keep them going for a while longer.

Check out http://lovemeblue.com/   Does all the same stuff as those other repair services but Is located in Canada. If you don't live locally you can still mail them in and shipping would probably less than sending them to the states.

  2. i think the 3xxx is still a bit too new for any well faded examples. But I wouldn't be surprised if they fade similar to PBJ XX-011s. They're both left hand twill, and they both have grey dyed weft threads. Comparing the two together they look quite similar, the only obvious difference is that the 3xxx series is quite a bit heavier than the PBJs.

  3. So I just received SE05BSPs and the waist fits perfectly pre soak, and the rest of the jean would fit perfectly after the initial soak. Is there any way I can keep this waist size and shrink the rest of the jean? Like can I stick a dowel there and keep that waist size or just not soak the waist?

Nope, I'd say cut your losses. Return them if you can, if you can't, just sell them and buy another pair in a larger size.
