I doubt it. I'd plan on half an inch at most. And that might still be pushing it.

Its pretty much the same with the 15oz. Mine shrunk about 2-2.5 inches with a machine wash and hang dry.

I've had to postpone my next London trip by a couple of weeks so am going to console myself with something new. Fancy a different type of denim so am thinking of sj003p or s500vx (haven't decided which weight yet - plan to get one lighter and one heavier than my 720's in the near future).

I am aware that the 3p are slimmer and lower rise than most and I don't have a problem with that. I am more worried that the vx will be too loose/high if I'm honest...

Anyone with any experience with these like to express an opinion? Or suggest an interesting alternative?

I have a pair of the sj003p. Went TTS and they fit great. Slightly slimmer and a lower rise than a SD1 710. As long as your thighs aren't too big you should be fine. Really nice material, I'm not crazy on the arcs or the exposed selvage on the coin pocket though but a good pair none the less.  Don't have any experience with the s500vx.

No actual holes yet, just wearing through in a couple spots. Gonna get them patched up soon but I could have probably gone another month or so without any issues.

The 12s stretch a ton. I went TTS and machine washed them right away to deal with any shrinkage. They stretched out past raw measurements in the thigh and waist. So the waist on those will be too big so a belt will be required and no way are those too tight for a hot soak in the thigh. Mine were even tighter at first and they were fine even then. Pretty sure you could easily go down a size on those if you wanted.

So many great shots of PBJ fades lead me to getting a pair of xx-005s today at Dutil. Well, they also gave me 20% off, so that helped. Threw them in the wash on hot to get the shrink out and put them on wet.

I guess I'm used to Iron Heart, but man, these sure stretched back out quickly.

Love the denim.

Yeah, PBJs stretch out stupidly fast. Makes them that much easier to wear right off the bat.

Assuming thats pre-soak, based on how the 3xxx denim shrinks and stretches, you could have gone down a size or two to get a slimmer fit. It looks like you have a lot of room in those right now. Did you happen to size up from from TTS?

Unfortunately I've put my fairly new sz 34 BSPs up on the market. The rise is just a little too low for me. Looking to move them quick so I can replace them with a pair of 3002s in a larger size so shoot me an offer. Pics are in my thread.
