not at all. they are not ready as of yet to launch a WW2 model. Hajime wants to have an original to copy and study, and he still haven't found it. I think they would be more than happy to work on another contest, now more than ever since they finally have a person like Ryo in the staff, who speaks a perfect English.
that said to me the most interesting option would be an up and coming new brand, like Rebuilt, more than Tcb or Ooe. I would have totally jumped on Rebuilt even before Warehouse but I wasn't aware of them when we started discussing the various contest options.
i couldnt believe it
they are too nice0 -

Glad to hear sufu traffic is up, I'm happy to be back as well!
@Broark I'd love to see an Ooe contest happen because I love the brand, and S&S. I pinged Jeremy a couple days back, but something new just popped into my head, involving a certain special fabric...
i love an Ooe contest aswell
mayb even an tuxedo contest (cone mills denim and chore jacket)
other idea
we can ask the swissjeansfreak to do an contest
he turned 60 years old and released a denim to fund his dream "the jeans museum"

Looks good but I would get one in moleskin instead. They are awesome!
Two of my mates have moleskin ones and I thought I bought one on eBay some years back but it turned out to be mislabelled and it was just a canvas one. Super bummed. Not at all the same heft and it can’t stand as much abuse.i did a search on ebay but too bad most of the listings doesnt tell the fabric

Must just be a fabric that is highly susceptible to abrasion, then. I wouldn't call that a characteristic of chambray in particular, FWIW. Probably has more to do with the strength of the individual yarns and the tightness of the weave. I've got chambray shirts that are over 20 years old with minimal wear and tear, but they're very strong, being 65/35, and very tightly woven.
Now you make me curious
which brands?

and i heard some good things about this cheap chambray shirt

Sorry for another size question
i have the ranchman in size 42 and fits me perfect
do i need the 50s jacket in size 42 or 44
the chest size is 3 inch smaller on the jacket than the ranchman
but an inch bigger in the shoulder
I was leaning to a size 44
