That would mean that you'll need to update your "style" in your profile misanthropod. Ds-j5 and "slob" don't go together .
Now if only I could find one of those in medium. Made a big mistake not getting one when it came out!

Lol Misanothropod!
TEKzeroSEVEN: let me know if it works out. If not, I've got an XL (fits closer to an L) HY-J3S that's kind of too big for me. Love to wear it all the same, but who knows it might fit you better .

TEKsevenZERO: In my experience Epic washes pretty well. Just don't wash it too often (as with anything really).
Just pop it in the wash, preferably by itself, at Low (30C). Tumble-dry afterwards at High which should reactivate the coating. (The label inside should basically say the same thing)
Washed my P9-Es many times (probably too many ) this way, and that works just fine. After repeated washings the color will start to fade though, as you'd expect.
No idea whether it'll be enough to get rid of cigarette smells, but then Epic is a pretty "hard" fabric, so it should work better than with most fabrics one assumes. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Misanthropod: You might already know this, but DS-HD2 definitely fits smaller than most other pieces do. Most of my ACR stuff is M and my HD2 in M is clearly on short side. Errolson actually wears a large in some of the product shots as well. This may be to ensure no unnecessary flappy bits while ninja-ing around

Would trade, if that sweetens things .

Second that zeusneckone! Awesome store. Also has loads of WTAPS and Neighborhood. Add the P9-S and possibly P9-E to that list as well as some 3A bags and NTS stuff.

Hi,
Would love to buy an Acronym DS-J5 in Medium, i.e. http://www.acrnm.com/products/ds-j5
Both dust or black would work.
Many thanks!

Hi Northwest,
It's a pretty nice piece, but a couple of things to note:
- The fabric is strong but thin. Makes it a great layering piece but not as warm as a regular cotton hoodie or the J25 (different fabric).
- It fits slightly small. Normally medium works for me with ACR but should have probably taken a large for this piece.
- The pocket is kangaroo style, i.e. one large room accessible from both zippers, instead of two individual pockets (not clear on the pictures)
- The semi-external jacket sling takes a bit of getting used to when donning it
I haven't seen lower prices anywhere, which is not to say that they don't exist. However, discounted ACR is pretty rare, so I'd go for it.
