  1. My WH 1000XX DSB are after double wash in 30 C. Now I am in. They feel very comfortable. They are crispy. But I have to claim the weight. They seems to me as 12-12,5oz. Denim is slubby and has snowy look. And I think they will be very fast faders....

    W33 L32 after wash

    waist 86 cm

    front rise 31 cm

    back rise 41,5 cm

    thigh 31,5 cm

    knee 24 cm

    hem 22 cm

inseam 82 cm - WOW !!! exactly 3 inches are gone....

Their type 3 jacket is made using the same fabric as lot 004. It says unsanforized but I’ve worn mine for a full year and washed it 8-9 times. Very little shrinkage if any.
Slow fader for sure. See pic. Crotch blow out just started getting dangerous around 365 days. Maybe that was fit related though. But with that tight of a fit I would’ve expected more fading. Anyhow. Nice looking jacket. Just my experience with the fabric.

I have the same experience with 004... And I have also type 3 jacket, 004J (same denime). Denim behaves as sanforized. I did initial double wash 40 C and shrinkage was minimal. Now jacket has full 78 days of wear. First wash I plan around 150 days. During week I will do pictures and I will post it in proper thread RMC. It's really slow fader, but some promises of future fading are very nice.... Cut and fit, manufacturing, fabric are top.... and is my favorite from all denim jackets.

My jeans 004 have only 1 month wear and they look almost as new...

Vlad, your 004 are looking fantastic...

I had looked into this: the difference between 1000 and 1001. But I can't remember :D
    Also there is "
    Lot 1001XX(1000XX)【1947MODEL】"
One might refer to the denim and one to the cut.

    Some notes I found:
    "1001XX is a late 40s cut"

    Two main denim:
    1000XX (14.5 oz) and banner denim (13.5oz)
"The 14.5 oz is their flagship "1000xx" denim, considered to be closest to the levis denim used in the 1940s-1950s.
From my understanding the banner denim holds it's indigo better, and has a softer hand from the start.
The 1000xx denim has a bit more nep and slub to it, but loses fades more to white, compared to bluer shades of the banner denim."

I'm not sure if DSB is a new denim in itself or a process for the two (1000XX and banner denim).

Thank you eagle, seems to me logic. I was also searching in the patterns of late 40ties. But some details are special. Stitch between coin pocket and waistband, side beltloops stitched in angle and shape of the back pockets.... and I am not sure if 1000, or 1001 refer to cut, or fabric...

Denime is 7,5x7,5, it means 13,5 oz as BD, and sure same denime as 1953 DSB 1001XX model (but 1947 model BD is 7x7)

^I really like the pink details on that one. If the fabric feels like when you were a kid, and assuming you’re at least 40 years old, that bodes very well. Wear it in good health, @vIGGiou riou

    Thank you…. But I remember jeans even 50 years ago …. :o)

  5. Raw measurements of 1000XX DSB in size W33 L32

    waist 91 cm

    front rise 33,5 cm

    back rise 44,5 cm

    thigh 33 cm

    knee 25 cm

    hem 23 cm

    inseam 89,5 cm

now they are at first wash at 30 C, after they will dry I will repeat same wash and dry. than I will measure them to post results here.

  6. Yesterday I purchased at Hinoa 1000xx DSB. They appeared at theirs online shop Friday afternoon and today morning were all sizes except w36 sold....

Looks like restock of 25th anni....

  7. Hey @aho, sorry, didn't visit this thread 2 weeks... yeah, although I had in my life many professions, but diving career was the best part. commercial diving was just only 3 years, than I was disqualified due to my health results. Very strong limits. My problem high cholesterol. Commercial diving is task diving under safety protocol. And life in shifts which took weeks was only dive, solve task, decompression, eat, sleep... More fun was before, when I was just only dive instructor, after courses of TechDiving and commercial diving and at the end of career I was years technical diving instructor. I met so many great people around diving. Lucky part of life. Now I am recreational diver and I enjoy it as much as possible....

Quality of my Submariner is amazing. During the time they were many times in Rolex servis for to maintenance and change of seals. When they were new they did + 2 minutes each month. After many services still they do +2 minutes in each month and effort of watch mechanics was for nothing. And this is my certainty that the world is not perfect. In imperfection is beauty of humen creation

  8. I have 3 pairs of chinos. Khaki from Orslow- I feel them too much modified to present cut of trousers. Beige from RMC- my favourite. Not slim, not bagy. And Olive from Buzz Rickson- very nice, I think more close to original fit with a lot of room all around the body, just in waist tight.... but I love them all...

  9. measurements of Lot 221 after initial double wash in 30 degrees (W34/L32).only significant shrinkage is in inseam....

    waist 86cm

    front rise 30,5cm

    back rise 41cm

    thigh in crotch 31,5cm

    knee 24cm

    hem 21,5cm

    inseam 82,5cm

  10. by the way also junky style handle LVC (of course they are Made in Japan as in Rodeo store and also in Hinoya). In LVC line MiJ is inseam maximum L34 (around 87 cm, after couple of washes around 80cm). in case I compare MiUSA W34, size is in cm same as MiJ W36. In my collection I have BNWT almost all types of LVC MiUSA and couple of MiJ. MiUSA are all in size W34/L36 and MiJ in size W36/L34....

  11. Today I received from Hinoya new Lot 221. they look awesome. and here you go raw measurements ...

    W34/L32 raw

    waist 87cm

    front rise 31,5cm

    back rise 42cm

    thigh in crotch 32,5cm

    knee 24,5cm

    hem 22,5cm

    inseam 87cm

I think I have to manage waist after washing with hanger/stick method. All stores list waist size raw as 90-93cm and mine are 87cm flat measurement. hope it'll work on my waist.

By the way, measurements are almost same as my LVC 1966 MiJ I bought couple of the years ago (still with tags, raw) in size W36/L34. Differences are in all measurements just only 1 cm in thigh and knee ....

With Denime 221 I plan to start in middle of September. Hot season starts in my location just now.

  12. Today I placed an order.  Hinoya. As I missed Lot. 220, Lot. 221 will be my first pair of Denime. I am also worrying as you b_F, that 66 will be too much slim for my taste....

I would prefer high rise of 220, but 31cm front rise on w34 of 221 isn't also so bad.

  13.  @bloom I have to resuscitate my pair of 710 after two years of sleeping in the closet. I think I wore them around 100 days and washed them about 10 times. too many dogs lead to the rabbit's death. I only wear jeans that are at the top of the pile .... my vote is 710 fit

  14. I wrote them for info about international shipping and I received this answer :

"Thank you for contacting us. Thank you for your interest, but international shipping is currently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
