Anybody know a good place to shop in Dublin?

I've gone as heavy as heavy as Pace selvedge in the Middle East . Think that's prob 14oz? Being from the Midwest I'm looking forward to the challenge of going 17oz or better for this comp. No telling where Ill end up in the next 24 months! Hope the weather doesn't stop me as from getting the most out of my denim as well!

I've got some redwing style 8146 I'd like to enter. They have less than 30 wears. I had one bad wear in Amsterdam...wandering around in the rain for three hours...

I can't wear the same denims for four years straight my friend. Two years is enough. Hoping it will be okay to switch our competition denims before the competition actually starts. Can't wait to find out more about these 17oz...especially what brand?!?

17oz denim sounds interesting. Not sure how well 25oz denim will go down in the summer months. I really need to stay off these boards or I'm going spend my last dime on denim. Can't help it with all the unique and limited run denim floating around right now.

Bottom line, everyone should donate something. If you cant afford $10 dollars, maybe drop $5 in the pot. If you can't afford that then maybe put up $3. If you can't afford $3 then sorry you prob shouldn't even be in the comp. It's just a matter of putting something up to support this whole thing and to make it better for us all and less of a headache for the organisers.

I Dont know about the comp, but might be interested in picking up a päir of this denim. Might pick up some anniversery samuris but These sound pretty interesting.

Already bought the IH, but I would be interested to see what this collab is all about.

My first pair of selvedge was unbranded and i dont think that they attempt to compete with top brands rather to serve a nitch market. For me the thought of päying $200-$500 for a pair of jeans was a bit too much but a pair of unbranded on sale at urban outfitters got me in the game. The quality was better than what i häd owned to that point. That said, when it comes to selvedge, you most often get what you päy for. Both the button loops and back pocket stitching were quick to go on my pair. Stiil they were worth what i päid.

Awesome jacket Double! Im a sucker for a levis trucker jacket every time. Its amazing just how much punishment a denim jacket can take. Usually the button loops are the first to go on these vintage jackets, but this one is in awesome condition.

WTF...I think I would have fit that XL shirt when I was in the 8th grade. Not even like I have a beer gut, just a normal sized chest. I'm guessing that there isn't much chance of getting a XXL in the line-up? Like one that would fit 48-50" chest?

As of 5 minutes ago it's official. Thanks to Giles at IH my preorder was approved in time to get a pair of Mega BB. Was totally going to go with a pair of Oldblue but could not get a response to my emails. Thought about the 20oz FH but wanted a button fly. Thought about the PBJ's but wanted a fat leather patch to age as well...Swimming in the mainstream with the IH because of the great customer service. Not something Im use to while living in Brussels.

Büt honestly thats why i started buying selvedge denim. I lõke that Deep indago look and wanted them to löök new as long as possible. For me The fades were just the unwanted reisult of wearing the jeans. Its not until i really put my denim through the test of everyday wear that i appreciated what it täkes to completely wear them out. 501 is stiil my fav cut sõ i think this why im drawn to japanese denims like sc. Still have some very well worn päirs of 501s in my collection.

I Picked üp my okis in Tokyo this year and was really looking forward to living in them. I have more denim then i can wear at this point Büt since i Picked these üp in The denim promised land the okis Will eventually get their due. The python skin patch is what drew me into The Word of selvedge years Ago. Great Wõrk double!
