Thanks Justiz2. You are right! This has been a big help.

I think the yellow is just starch. I gave my jeans a good soaking last week for the first time. They had some patina on them but I was more concerned about the crotch and potential blowouts. Just hoping that getting some of the starch out will loosen the fabric up. Right now the only real wear marks are from my cuffs damage…i got a long way to go!

^ More info on these please.

Been waiting to get a look at those. Awesome…stacks on stacks on stacks

They seem typical of most denim brands which doesn't bother me. Marketing is enough to get over with the masses. Although the denim psycho video does have its moments. (I would like to see more of the gingers shirt) I think it's lame to be honest. There are all kinds of crappy denim companies out there. Just because one decides to produce selvedge crap instead of normal crap doesn't make it any better or any worse than the rest. If people are foolish enough to buy it, then great for them. You don't have to buy elite japanese to be happy with your jeans. You don't have to fall prey to clever marketing campaigns or what is "hot" at the moment either. If you get the most for your money, in the end you are always going to be happy.

Justiz2 and Johnbos, I found the same info when I did a bit more digging, but thanks for the help.

That really sucks. Hopefully the popo or a helpful citizen can help you guys. Last year someone broke into my brothers storage shed, and stole all his equipment for his company. He and his employees had to go without work. He went to a local news station who did a short bit on it. In two days, someone from the neighborhood turned the thieves in, and he got all of his equipment back. Anything is possible.

That's a lot of shrinkage in the waist. No idea they would shrink that much. Is that typical? Nice fit pics mange

I hope you are back on your feet soon. Those are looking nice masamune, looks like the fabric is starting to loosen up.

AndyK, I don't own any Samurais, so I may not be the best person to answer this, but a good place to start would be the 15th anniversary models. Either that or search this thread until you see something that you like.

DhaDha, those are sick. It might not be a bad idea to save and enter those into the next contest of your choosing. Chances are the fades will be as unique as the denim itself.

I just returned from a holiday in the UK, and decided to share some pics of the castle that we visited in Wales. This is the castle in Caernarfon. Also are some pics of the MBB slowly breaking in.

Spent the past few days in the UK kicking around Wales mostly. It's been cold, windy, and rainy, but I have loved every minute of it.

Looks like a solid effort on the steel feathers Bobbo. Im hoping that I will have this kind of progress with another month of wear. Since Im not in the construction field this year, my progress has been real slow. It would be nice to see a bybeatle pair slip in for an update…

I arrived at the airport in Manchester UK today and saw a guy in Eatdust denim. Seems like I see at least one person in selvedge anytime Im at an airport.

Louisbosco, you will love Japan. I only wish I knew more about denim before my visit. I would have spent much more on denim, and less on wine!

Finally figured out how to post pics sooo…I know the color is off but you get the picture MBB. I got mine late due to some postal issues and shipping confusion. Finally got my hands on them in May sometime. Wore them straight through a German summer in Ktown, and now wearing them about 3 or 4 times a week but only for a few hours a day (2-4) tops. Im guessing about roughly 5 months of total wear. I really got nothing special going on. Got some spots looking like a blowout in the crotch in the future so Im contimplating a wash to loosen up the fabric which is still pretty stiff at this point. The picture was taken in Old Town Tallinn Estonia yesterday! Cheers, and happy new years!

I really don't get it though. I've been wearing my jeans like crazy. They get dirty, but they don't fade. I guess Im not as active as I use to be…and probably a bit more of a messy eater these days.
