A couple days in on my MBB, and they are already my favorite garmet hands down. Feeling a bit like cardboard, and noisey when I move around.

On a lighter note, I finally recieved my MBB today! It's been so long since I ordered them. No fault to the guys at Iron Heart. who did an outstanding job getting them to me, but I had an unforseable slip-up while trying to get them sent to a military base in a foreign country. A tricky bit of business to say the least. This is my first experience with heavy denim. I hope I dont shrink them too much in the soak and debating a soak at all. I think the biggest problem are the buttons...cant seem to get any of them done up. Advice is welcome!

Great idea

I really like sugarcane denim. Besides the texture and streakiness of the denim, it doesn't seem like there are many crotch blowouts...even on the heavily worn pairs ike Double 0 Souls.

Can't wait to get my hands on my new denims. Those MBB weaving looks really tight. I knew they were going to be nice but I had no idea!

Those have held a lot of indigo. Like the fade on the train tracks and combs.

I wish I had my new jeans, but I guess all my others can keep me occupied until my competition denim arrives. All of this waiting is driving me nuts.

I want to contribute, but I cant find a good site for hosting pics. Which site should I use?

Im kinda torn up on the bybeatle's. The cut is the best for my body type, but I prefer more of a 501 cut. I'll probably order them anyways, and hopefully not buy another pair of jeans in the next 5 years if Im lucky. Stupid question tho...Ive been following denim forums for three years now, but never really paying attention to what is being released since I always felt like I was playing catch-up. My question is, is it just me, or does it seem like there is a lot of exclusive and unique denims being launched this year? There's still stuff I want to buy, but the bybeatles seem unique enough that I wont feel like I wasted my money even if I dont wear them much during the heavy weight denim comp...or maybe I will hold the mbb and wear the bybeatle's.

Lots of Sugarcane gear on the bay. I wonder if it is all authentic? I dont think I've ever seen those SC40601 before. Apart from the leather patch and pocket materials, they look a lot like Okis or Hawaiis .

Thanks CMO! Been looking around but haven't found anything yet. I'll try this place today. A bit disappointed on one point though. Seems like good Irish whiskey and scotch is more expensive here than in the states

Was hoping for a "by Beatle" announcement today??? So excited for this comp...the only thing I'm already regretting are all the jeans that I won't be wearing for the next two years! Saving my money until Beatle makes her announcement!

I was thinking of doing a tea soak when I finally clean my MBB. Not sure which kind of tea I will use tho.
