  1. I was taken in by some asshole that these are Visvim, before I throw them to trash quick photos:

And finally JS Luxsic Visvim crew LS pink (but I'd say it's lt burgundy). Btw I love basic Visvim stuff

  2. Well, search Cowichan in Google and you'll find that version somewhere for sure, but that's for window shopping..the only way to get one would be asking directly in FIL stores if any store actually has it in their, uhh.. 'archives' :) They are crazy expensive as you probably know and I think the only way of actually getting hold of one from 1-2 years back would be this method. Or keep your fingers crossed and lurk at yahoo for 2 years :)

-edit- the big question is- are you going to spend $3-$8k on a knit sweater.. :)

  3. that's not the plae to post that kind of question, but:

rakuten- it depends, some items are fake some are legit

supremepalace / conceptshop - both legit, you'd have to be totally unlucky to buy a fake there (it would mean that guys who cop that stuff to re-sell were deceived by someone and that's rather unlikely- you have to be blind to confuse authentic Visvim with fake Visvim)

  4. go with Lhamo, remove the cords if they annoy you and you're good. If you get nat dye Lhamo, remember to consider that the part underneath the cord you'd detatch will be undyed (they dye Lhamo/Noragi as a last step, after it's been sewn).

  5. It doesn't matter which size you get- it won't fit anyway. It will be either too long / wide on the body with ok sleeves (size 5 or even 4) or ok on body with unacceptably slim sleeves that even if you squeeze yourself inside, will make your hands numb in 20 minutes (size 3).

The label of Noragi should sport a Dante's quote somewhere on the label: "Abandon hope all ye who enter here"

-edit- but seriously, if you really want to have a go at it, you should be buying size 4 at least.

  6. Perfect proxy in every possible way, not to mention the I missed out earlier on some Uniqlo stuff and rirawin contacted me on his own to notify that the items I was after were re-realised. Rirawin's the man.

  7. Items I won't be keeping are probably AMDO shirt (sz3), black elk flannel (sz3), Ide vest (sz4), so if anyone is interested- let me know and we can work it out before I list them here/ at ebay.

    -edit-

that damaged SS Hoodie is awesome. Great fit, will layer nicely and the denim is quite thick actually- it's pretty warm

  8. The link seems to be corrupt- all I can see is  photo.163.com :)

As for sizing- well, I like the way Hiroki rocks his. It's short. But I agree that these jackets (traditionally) should run longer.

It's a bit of an obsession but I hate when "top wear" well covers my buttocks. Same history with jackets, too long shirts, etc. I even had my Lhamo trimmed a bit.

  9. Yeah my usual concerns with V items is chest size and arms/shoulders (and the fact that to be able to wear these means buying things that are a bit too long for my liking- the reason I'd like to size down in Kilgore to sz 2)

  10. Thanks Fycus. As for sizing- if I find SS13 Kilgore Sz3 ok but with a small margin (I think I could size down but it would be very close to unwearable), I can't settle for a sz2 FW12 Olive huh?
