I washed at 30, no dryer. Lost a couple cm in the leg. I’d already stretched the waist a bit before washing so it’s tricky to know if they shrank more there

Mine were the same. Now they’re stretched a tiny bit past the chart size though. They stretch and if the waist is your only worry it might work?

i guess they’re smaller everywhere so I’m getting a slimmer pair, not that sweet looser fit, but that’s ok. The waist was the only place they were wrong; the rest is just different

They fit kind of like my FH3005 now but with the rise on steroids. That’s good for me.

I washed them exactly like I’ll always be washing them, to get them used to it. Then I went round the waist bit by bit with the button open and stretched them. Then I put them on damp and fastened them and wiggled round lots.

yeah this is true! Although this pair has taught me to do it in centimetres (or millimetres maybe!), there’s been that much measuring involved

I spoke to Inoue this morning he’s confident there stretch and I trust his word from past experience with my Tcb 606 size 30 tag now have stretch to a 31 special after first wash also I have a pair of joe mccoys 906s which were crazy tight and they stretch 2 in the waist.

    thank you

so I need your opinions peeps
Tcb is branching on t shirt making now, as you may have seen.
Tees are not made in Tcb factory, they're made in Japan but Sure Manufacturing, a factory owned by a friend of Hajime in the prefecture of Gifu, specialized in t shirts and bags.

Ryo wrote me this, after I enquired to buy the Caturday tee:

Made of 100% cotton, 30/2 combed yarns used.
Woven, keeping a high tension on the fabric by sinker looping machines.
What we want for a T is that it'll look best after 100 times of washing. Stretched and shrunk by wash and wear, this T reaches its perfection after ample amounts of wear like unsanforized denim.
The sewing is all done with cotton threads. The collar is finished by Union Special and the sleeves and the waist are finished with the overlocking stitch like the 70's~80's Hanes.
The print is done mostly by pigments so it'll gradually fade and show you the color like the faded red selvedge I.D.

They're [supposedly] very nicely made, high quality, loopwheeled, made to look better with wear. They're not cheap either. approx cost 55 usd.
These were initially made in very small quantities only for JP market, but they are looking to sort out international shipping too, since there's been some request.
They have two designs out, and they are perhaps considering (after I suggested that) to make a memorial TCB WW2 contest tee. This could have the patch design on it.
If any of you guys is interested we will try to see a t shirt computer render design and see how the patch would look on a tee. Kinda difficult to imagine.
I am for sure getting the Caturday one. Best tee for a cat daddy.
Just wanted to see if it's worth bothering to try and see a render or not.
Back in the 20s contest I remember we talked about a tee, but then the interest kinda dissipated with time.

Definitely up for a ww2 patch Tshirt I’ll be all over it

Here's hoping the next few weeks go by fast! Can't wait to get these in hand...

As far as sizing, I've said 'screw it' and always up size when in doubt. Nothing that can't be fixed by a shorter hem and cuffs, if you're into that look! (I am, and it seems @Qube is as well) Hence my 38x26

I’m in on the 26 leg

nice swift and definitive action @volvo240thebest and @Broark

... unacceptable behaviour is unacceptable... this is enough of a sausage factory, we don't need it to be a toxic one too!

@Darren Barbera nice fit on the shirt; how do you find the relative tightness / looseness of the collar?

@Collin - you are the ultimate recruiter; good work!

On the collar it’s a little tight but still wearable I love the fit I choose a 40 and I’m a medium 38 a little loose but still fitted in the right places, and thank you @Collin

    I’m in!

I think I’m gonna go for 31. Tcb measurements for 31 are really close to my lvc 55s in 32. In case anyone is curious. With .5cm higher rise!

also for anyone who cares - I own a tcb 50s in 32 and 31 - the 31 looks better on me. 31 it is.

In regards to hem - I’ve been wanting to get a pair to wear without a cuff but I don’t think this is the pair to do it with. The hem measures .5cm wider than my 31 50s. I’ll have to see how my 517s compare.

I’m going 31 my cat boys slims our 31 and there roomy my Tcb 606 our 30 and a 31 would’ve be that little bit better but I have a little room in the 30 due to the denim I find quite stretchy being 11oz,in my experience with one wash denim I find they always stretch out a bit,but fir anyone not sure go a little bigger
