  1. There's surely going to be older stock hanging around for a little while yet if you really need to swoop on a pair without the ultra suede.

Good posts up above by the way. I personally feel that Flat Head is, ahem, head and shoulders above any other shirt maker based upon the fabrics alone. Doesn't matter if it's a plain chambray or a complex weave on a kasuri shirt, they really are the very best. I do wish they'd drop the white label on the pockets though. It really adds nothing and looks a mess. Branded Cat's Eye buttons on the pocket or nothing!

  2. To add to Alvin's post: Incredible Shop in HK only sells the shorter inseam version of the 710 because that's all most of their clientele want to buy. It's all about the highwater in this part of the world!

  3. I love the cut of Flat Head shirts too - or at least the workshirts - even though I'm not short and stocky. I hate long shirt tails and the more fitted proportions look better on a skinny guy like me.

  4. I currently use an Olympus OM-D, which is a great camera for me. I shot film (Olympus OM-2S, Nikon FG) for a while but decided it was started to become more of a hassle and decided it was finally time to move on to digital. Been great so far!

I've also got the OM-D - in my case an E-M10. It's been great as a travel and street camera and I'm really happy with my purchase.

  5. My favourite things about Ciabatta's pair:

    1. the puckering on the coin pocket... so nice

    2. the shape of the back pockets - I always thought Resolute had that square 66 style back pocket but these have a lovely bell-curve a la Full Count or Warehouse 1001 (at least in these photos)

    3. button fly fades... always look cool.

If I can make the thighs work in my size, I'd definitely consider a pair of 710 for a summer jean once my Full Count are done.

  6. Does the London store carry japan specific 2000s and 2001 or just European models? I will be there in a couple months and would like to pick some up if possible.

Every time I've visited, it's been International stock only. As with all Evisu stores outside Japan, it's a fairly depressing experience...
