I'm glad an active member here got a pair of those. I've wanted to see how that denim would age since they were released.

Wow, you aren't kidding about that Navy! You get so used to seeing the typical green, that a simple change in color feels revolutionary.

2nd DOES offer chainstitching.

I have a general question about FC's sizing philosophy; Ed you've probably got better insight here than anyone at this point. Do the folks at FC actually advise to size down due to their stretchy denim and larger waists, or have they gone with the sizing scheme that best reflects the image they're going for, assuming the wearer goes true-to-size?

Kind of looks like stacks of cocaine after a huge cartel bust. Equally addictive and dangerous...

I'm curious about the cut of those. I'm not sure if SDA makes their WWII jeans in a typical 40s cut, or if they use their various silhouettes similar to Full Count?? I've looked at that reservation page several times, hoping for some more detail pics.

Does Trophy do plain t-shirts???

Guys, I have a brand new w/tags size 34 of the new 1101 WW2 jean for sale. So, if you want a pair at Japanese retail, with no shipping in the lower 48, shoot me a PM.

Really wish FC made their heavy flat seam shirts in a couple sizes bigger. I feel that way about so many Japanese shirts, but I LOVE the style of these. I would buy every color. Maybe someday...

One of the greatest cards ever printed!

Not sure if I've ever seen them stock the WW2 releases, but I bet Gordon can order them.

I don't think the 1101 is really that slim. Slimmer than the 0105, but not at all like the 1108. Just wait for the 1108 version out next month. It has camo pocket bags, and really 'quiet' arcs.

There is a "Wide Straight" and a "Classic Wide Straight". So, is one of these the 0105, and the other a non-tapered version with similar top block as 0105?

Do SDA's WW2 pairs all have a similar fit? Or, are they modeled after different cuts in different releases, similar to FC?

I haven't seen hands like that since Ray McKigney!

Anyone doing the white 800s? Pretty bold, but the denim looks really nice.
Also, anyone rocking the HC 2012 these days? So, how slim are they really? The measurements don't look that slim, but I assume they are tight through the hips, similar to the FC 1108. The oatmeal version this year look pretty good. And the buttons they use for the 2012 are awesome! Not to mention, the price is quite right for this model.

Anyone know what's going on with the new WW2 pair? The link is dead...curious if plans have changed. Maybe they decided not to do 4 different cuts???

Is this the first time they've done a special anniversary denim to be used with multiple models? Not that I'm complaining, but seems interesting to do this the year after their big 15.

3000 is a larger cut. So is the 510, but it has the luxury deets and colored weft.

Hog, it's the last few pics. Gold buttons, dyed weft.

Here are lots of pics. Cool that the arcs/pocket bags are different per model.

Setterman, unfortunately I did not measure my own pair while raw. But, after a warm soak, and a cold machine wash (no dry), they definitely shrunk a noticeable amount. Compared to some of the measurements online, about an 1.25" in the front rise, 2" in the inseam, and probably 1.5" in the waist. Mine are size 34, and the waist is currently back to 36", and could probably go further if necessary. So, the denim has some give.
I think you would be just right in whatever your normal Warehouse size is. If that's 36, I'd go with that here. The cut on these is fantastic! It's definitely slimmer through the knee than typical ww2 models, which I really like. And the damn near square back pockets are great too. I had already bought the Spring/Summer 14 pair, but like them so much I couldn't pass on the Summer 14 pair.
The current measurements are:
Waist - 36
F Rise - 11.5
B Rise - 16.5
Thigh - 13
Inseam - 34 (unhemmed)

anyone have a contact at the rakuten shop "Bears?" after a week they haven't charged my card or replied to emails. i did receive the "this is the final cost including shipping please confirm" email, but nothing sense then. they have my correct card information so not sure what the delay is.
Unfortunately, I don't have a contact. But I can say that the times I have ordered from them, I had the exact same experience. Relative to other shops, they simply take forever to get stuff shipped out. Everything always came through in the end though.
