Kristina's got a nice fit on the Chelseas, how did she size them? 

 tight. haha the 31" cone 13oz was easier to button for her but she wanted kuroki so she just muscled through.  i think she hot soaked them from the knee down.

took a couple pictures of people rockin' LF in the shop this week.

 

as always, miss malia and jr miss Kristina lookin' lovely in their LF striped long sleeve tees. (look at the pattern my iphone captured from them!!) Check out Kristina's Chelsea's too.

big week for the l/s stripe tee. here's eric in a knew pair of greasers too.

 

cameron (cameron-photo.com), is a sweet photographer and a great friend of the shop. i've been on two boundary waters camping trips with him and his olive japanese duck miner chinos. he's been wearing them almost every time i've seen him in in those two years. he's very happy to have a brand new pair of the exact same pants. sweet photo-bomb from my cone broken twill greasers on the left of both shots.

 

 

 

If anyone wants something that will shrink, get the kuroki 15oz greasers and wash them in hot. you'll lose about a size.

looking dope! i've seen honeycombs in sweatshirts but not yet on any sweatpants. things are heating up!

^they are both dope and a pretty insane deal.

 However, I'm starting think my students at the university where I'm on faculty are beginning to wonder why I show up to class every day in the same jeans.  

 

christian, can we get some suede knees on some jeans?

Are you serious? There's a bazillion brands out there producing some really good raw, unsanforized denim.

Although I prefer my denim loomstate, this does not put me off sanforized, in fact I bought a fantastic pair of Ande Whall SR7s recently and would definitely buy more of his stuff in future.

 

i think they mean there isn't a lot of USA made unsanforized denim. even from non-american mills.

^not yet. you'll know!

If it means my dad would rock some LFs i'm all for zippers! that said, some unsanforized LF would be DOPE!

well done everyone. there was a few days when i was very tempted to join. for professional reasons i didn't but it's been a joy following along. thanks to Flash for organizing and congrats to Jyoni. it's been a joy to watch them age in person. they are truly gorgeous and annihilated. 

embrace the fades! that means those are processed by hand and not some machine! wear it until they're gone!

Hey guys, this is a little off subject, but since this is one of the best (for sure the best) threads on sufu at the moment, i'd like to turn a little attention to another great thread and contest, the Ooe Yofuketen contest. voting ends today. while we aren't running our sweatpant contest in the same way with a public vote, it's cool to see how other contests work and see different participation styles.

 

also, if you all vote for jyoni's pair, maybe he'll win that contest and won't be as motivated to win this one....his pair of OOe's is at BlackBlue if anyone wants to come visit them. his hand repairs are incredible.  We can all remind him that he has a lovely pair of Broken Twill Greasers that could probably use some wear too. Ray's pair is pretty great as well.

I'm 5'9 and 155 and I wear size 2. The shirt is described as a relaxed fit so you should be safe.

 

me too. exactly. 5'8" 160.  see above picture for fit of a size 2 butterfly.

drew, do it. otherwise someone else will get it and that wouldn't be ideal. the fit on those is great. they seem to run a little smaller than my previous Tender button downs which is great.

it's been a crazy day of rain/snow here in Saint Paul today. Susan and Sandy posed for me while walking past the shop. susan is going with the march rain/snow-soak today on her sweats. i think sandy looks like cher with her hair wet like that.
