  1. i agree with everyone about your son Pomata, he is cute.

Medine i am amazed by the evo you have on your cinch, what do you do exactly?

i dont have much evo on mine, just those crazy combs you can see on snuggy jeans around here..... not my fav cup of tea but heck i promised i would wear those whatever the fit would be.... i just overexposed a bit to make them more apparent that is it but i think it will be less visible after the first wash.

  2. allright, will pop in tomorrow afternoon for an oil change and coffee.

Peacoat and Denim for skiing,Doc? taking the term "fashionvictim" to another level.

peacoat was really wearable on an everyday basis, under sun and snow time.

i only wore jeans on one sunny day and as i said it was freezing .....

morality : i am an excellent skier. second : peacoat is a very good windbreaker provided u have a decent wool garment underneath (and you follow rule #1 of course)

  3. wow doc, you're getting a lot of fade in the ass. those are some pretty defined and quantitative(many??dont know the word to use gah.) combs. are those really tight on you? judging from the crocking they look like they are, but from the fit pics they dont look as tight. i enjoyed the updates from everyone thus far. really good stuff, this thread is starting to come alive again!

p.s. ROY6 whats with the list? you sending me a postcard as well?

ass fade : ride a bike.

combs: not my favorite pattern and tight related i think.

  4. hello pals and congrats to all of you who are feeding the thread much better than i do.

next pics will be from ski vacations with kids :) i am so glad. first time for them.

here are with 2 days in advance the monthly pics of jeans ....

2 quick soaks on day 1 and that is all for the moment. As others i have some hairy jeans but nothing different from other brands imo...... blue fades are coming along pretty nicely. i got to do some minor repair at the crotch as i have been a bit brutal with those already

  5. bluegoldblues, that just looks like a generic late 50s or 60s A-2-influence jacket. The main question is whether it's decent quality leather - the uncropped shots look pretty good, but on the close-ups it looks a little cheap, as if it has a printed grain. If the lining etc is pretty good, that's about what I"d expect for £70.

i agree with Paul, leather seems cheap on close ups. on the contrary knits seem in good shape, wich is surprising... no creases on arms too. anyway it is a good looking jacket and a fair price.

maybe you could post natural light pics and fit pics. and probably give it some mink oil or whatever your favorite leather product is....
