not too tight

Had a great experience at Blue in Green today. Went in and had help to figure out the length I needed. While I was waiting for them to be hemmed I talked to Gordon about those new PBJs, found out that were actually supposed to be RHT and those will eventually be coming out too. Also talked about the Samurai Element models and he showed me all the details of the 3 pairs they have. Anyways on with the pictures.

I guess I gained a bit of wait or maybe it was from the few beers I had tonight but these were fitting pretty tight. Not too sure when I am going to soak them, it is a bittersweet having these jeans now. I am super excited to start wearing them but at the same time I would feel bad starting to wear them almost an entire month early. joelz took some great detail pictures I just wanted to show the infamous orange stitching and I was always curious to what the inside of the pocket bags looked like.

I can take more pictures tomorrow during the day, my point and shoot doesn't really work that well indoors. I guess I will wait for a few more people to get theirs before I start wearing these bad boys. I don't want everybody crying foul when I end up winning. :eek:

I wouldn't be surprised if after a few more washes you have the fit you want. When i first got my 005s I was disappointed by how roomy the thigh was and then the fact that waist stretched out so much I thought for sure I should have down sized.

But now after having washed them 5 times in a machine the thighs are skin tight and don't seem to stretch out as much as the waist. I try to take WAYWT pictures from the back but I am too embarrassed by the fit because they look like girl jeans to me.

Piddan have you looked Red Wing Gentlemen Travelers? I have a pair of RW 9014 which is black with a round but they also offer it with a moc toe. They are $220 from Baker.

hmm i thought you were supposed to measure where you want the jeans to sit. so then once you know that measurement you find the jean size that has a waist sized similar.

so i would actually measure where the jeans are on your waist now so you know how they would sit. or perhaps measure a pair of jeans you have that you like and compare measurements that way.

The Strike Gold and Iron Heart belts are on self edge online. I have never had a high quality belt so I'm not too sure the difference between Italian and American leather. I plan on using this belt the entire time of the Eternal 811 contest coming up.

Tiro I'm not sure if you can get them from Mister Freedom but Self Edge has them in stores but not online yet. I saw them in SENY when I was there last week.

So does that mean we can soak them and do some reinforcement before 10/10?
