thanks repeat!
what's size did you get?
I'm kinda between sizes, and want the thigh and leg opening of the 34 as opposed to the 36, but I'm a little iffy about the top box being too tight.
+rep for fit pics

any opinions on how to size the 3005? don't see too many pics in here of them.
btw, I am a comfortable 35 waist, but can "somewhat" easily fit into a true 34

nice , love half cabs..so comfy and durable
I agree, I always wanted an all white leather pair. Found them once at a skate/surf shop in NC, but couldn't bring myself to pay the price. I wish I had copped them now, especially since it is now 3 pairs of canvas auths later, ha.
lookin good cheap. that shirt looks good

man, my 21oz are super stiff and snug (not stretching as fast as I thought they would), I can only imagine how unruly those 24oz would be. N&F should try out a new fit if they are going to keep using these heavier denims. Maybe more of a straight repro fit or something. I think those kinda of fits work better for the over 19oz denims.
Don't get me wrong, i'm really diggin my WG21oz, but I do think maybe a higher rise, slightly larger thigh/leg opening fit would be better for the 24oz. just my crazy opinion

they came single stitch.. but I do believe they are too long, they will get hemmed.. I'll try to get someone to do a chain stitch hem on it, but it's rather hard to find someone who could do it in toronto..
the pair set me back @ 309 less 25% from Barney's Outlet in NY
and yup, they are stiff..
yeah, you may have to work hard to find someone to do the stich in toronto, but i know some people from canada that have gotten stuff chain stitched.
price doesn't seem too bad for "hand-dyed" denim. I think their Hank dyed is Hand dyed.
congrats on a good find!

N&F Hank Dyed Denim
Weird Guy Cut
Croc Skin Patch
no nonsense pair of denim, just nice cut, nice fabric, and excellent construction
Limited 37 pieces produced... here are the pictures of the pair I recently got from Barney's
you should get these chainstiched. it would be a great addition to the already great denim. just my opinion.
denim looks beautiful. how much did they set you back? I've heard they were quite pricey

1001s are hopefully my next pair of jeans....but then again, the thighs scare me on those as well...
I usually stick to what I know, Nudies and J.Crew, ha

They are ok, it's just the shoes that make them look weird guys.
I agree 100%, i'm not a huge fan of square toe shoes, even though I am a sucker for square toe exotic western boots (I'm from texas of course) even though they don't look good on me, but all areas of the world have different styles, and of course, "to each his own"

well, I tried on some Jim japans (may have been broken twill, can't remember) about 3 years go and loved them. but I tried some of the Organic Ecru Embo Jims on the other day and thought I was gonna rip right through them. something about those super tight thighs.
I have big thighs tho, ha.
sized up jims would look cool on me tho i bet. I would def grab some jim japans in a size up if it wasn't for the "almost-guaranteed" crotch rip ha

haha Jims are awesome, I just never think of them since they don't fit me, hha

the weird guys don't fit your body type well.
why is this? I think they look good. different people wear them differently.
I think playing with the sizing to get the look you are after is cool.

i'm suprised take 5 even replied you, i've emailed them astronomical times, never received any replies.... they must have a filter or something.... and only reply the europeans and americans
it's so wieird that this is happening to multiple people, I emailed fung in October concerning the contest at info@take5jeans, and i got a response in like 3 hours....weird, they must be busy or their e-mail has been shut down or something.

yeah dude,
I had put the post-soak measurements into account, but just wasn't sure how roomy the hips would be. I think I might be fine with the 34 since I don't really hot-wash my jeans.
If the top is a little too tight for a hot soak, I guess I can always hot soak from he thighs down, cold/warm soak the top box.
the size 36 would have to shrink a ton to get the kinda sizing I would want in the thighs I'm afraid of.
who knows tho, maybe a really relaxed pair would be something good to have, especially in the coming warmer months:)
