Hello All. Hope this day finds you well. We allow dogs (and cats) at my place of employment in downtown Berkeley. Here I am with colleagues' dogs -- "Mocha" (the boxer) and "Albert" (the baby bulldog). I love my Sugar Cane Okinawa jeans but I swear to GOD, they are harder to break in than 21-oz Iron Hearts ! I may purchase an SC Hawaii pair at SESF when I attend the "cut-off party" on June 27th. The smallest-sized Sugar Cane Oki and Hawaii (tagged W29) are a baggier fit than I'm used to, but I love the look !

Seul - Nothing. Ginno and Derek were just chillin outside of the SESF storefront and I happened to run into them on Valencia St. on the way back from DOSA. I didn't go into the store (yes, I have that kind of discipline !).

Hey, Mom and I had South Indian food at DOSA in The Mission, SF today -- just a stone's throw from SESF on Valencia Street. Happened to run into Ginno and Derek. Excuse the red dribble on my t-shirt (it's from the yummy beet soup at DOSA) but this is otherwise a great pic. Ginno and Derek are super sweet and attractive fellas...plus, they sure do know their denim. They've sold me a shitload of Iron Heart, not one iota of which I regret !

Taken today in San Francisco's beautiful Golden Gate Park. I went for a long hike this morning at GG Park with my mom and cousin.

Hello Everyone ! Today, May 22nd, is my 46th birthday !! So sorry that I didn't make it to The SuFu party at SESF on Saturday, May 1st...hard to believe I'm sure, but I was just swamped with work. Remember, our livelihood allows us to eat and buy jawns, so ya gotta take care of the J-O-B, make sure the bosses are happy. I'll try desperately to make it on June 27th (Sunday) for the "jeans-made-to-shorts" altering ceremony at SESF. Hope ya'll are doing fine. Hello All. Sorry I've been a stranger. I've started a new job and have been working like a maniac. Don't have much free time at the moment. But here I am today....before heading off to work later in the afternoon. PS...though it's warm in The SF Bay Area these days, wearing Iron Heart never gets too hot and unbreathable -- at least for me.

Got my Iron Heart SEXIH03 (Indigo Cyclists) from foldingsocks today. Couldn't be happier. Got a great deal, the jeans arrived super fast -- and the jeans were essentially new. Of course, the fit is perfect.

Got the sugar cane okinawas super fast. Brand new raw, as described, fit perfect !

Samurai S0500xx (W28 tagged) arrived super fast. They are perfect. Even better (newer) than I imagined, and fit great !

Here I am wearing Iron Heart 461S (bought from Giles in the UK). They're cut similarly to IH 301S (from Self Edge, San Francisco) except they're boot cut while 301S are slim. Size : W29, L32.

The 461S and 301S are both great cuts for women -- lower rise, skinny thighs. 21-oz jeans ROCK !

Do women with Iron Heart 301S really find the rise to be low enough? Looking at the measurements it seems to be 9 inches - I never wear my Skull 5010s because the rise is uncomfortably high, and according to the Selfedge website it's only 9.8 inches...

Hi. Yes, I find the IH 301S plenty low enough. But I don't like ultra-low waisted jeans. They come up to just below my belly button, which is just perfect.
